The Bombardment: All We Need to Know About Netflix’s Upcoming Danish Drama

Netflix’s upcoming drama The Bombardment aka The Shadow In My Eye or Skyggen i mit øjeis, is a Danish film based on World War II. After Against the Ice, Chosen, Elves and more Danish titles taking over the streaming platform, it is always interesting to keep an eye out for what new the platform has to offer us. With a topic as grim as World War and, a language that is still establishing its supremacy on the network, let us have a look at what is the film all about and when is it scheduled to release.

Actor Alex Høgh Andersen, who we have seen in Vikings, headlines the show in the role of Frederik. The other cast members include Danica Curcic, Susse Wold, Caspar Phillipson, Bertram Bisgaard, Manella Lucia Lodahl, Alban Lendorf, Ester Birch Bech, Ella Josephine Lund Nilsson, Fanny Leander Bornedal and others.

The Bombardment Plot/Synopsis

Netflix’s description for the film reads: “The fates of several Copenhagen residents collide when a WWII bombing mission accidentally targets a school full of children. Based on true events”. The military, war movie is stated as emotional by the OTT giant.
