The 100 Girlfriends Season 2 Episode 2 Recap

In this episode, Kurumi may have agreed to be Rentaro’s girlfriend, but she hasn’t yet warmed up to the idea of getting along with his other partners. To help her break the ice, Rentaro decides to join the eating competition that Kurumi is excited about, bringing along his other girlfriends.

He believes this shared experience might help Kurumi relax and bond with the group. Rentaro knows that Kurumi isn’t a bad person, as she just struggles to express her feelings, so he sees this as the perfect opportunity to bring her closer to everyone. However, he didn’t anticipate just how resistant Kurumi would be to this plan.

Here, each of the girls has a distinct and quirky personality, making every scene they’re in lively and entertaining. Even something as ordinary as participating in an eating competition becomes unforgettable thanks to the unique antics of the main cast and the amusing side characters.

This episode starts with Hahari being absolutely unhinged after making baby clothes for all the girls and her lover, Rentaro. Not only that, she also throws a hissy fit when they refuse to turn into babies with the help of Kusuri’s babyfication medicine. She wants to play mother to all of them, and she will not stop whining until she gets that chance. However, Hakari was not having any of it.

She has grown up with a dignified, strong, and independent woman who handled her work as well as raised a daughter all on her own. Now that the same person is being childish, Hakari becomes extremely embarrassed about the whole scenario. But, nothing in this anime goes seriously, and the thing that Hakari dreaded happened, and everyone, apart from Hakari and Rentaro, became a child. Now, it is up to these two to take care of a bunch of toddlers who are cute but also nightmarish to handle.

This part was absolutely hilarious and also, in a very Hyakkano way, perverted. But Hakari gets a dose of how difficult it can be for anyone to manage kids. She now has an idea about how her mother managed to take care of her and the sacrifices she made.

The next segment was pretty funny as it revolves around the maid, Meido, who constantly follows Hahari. Apparently, she has the prettiest eyes, and very few have witnessed that. But as she has kept her eyes closed for all these years, they have become tightly shut, and no amount of effort can open them. However, Rentaro and his girlfriends have some very creative ideas, and it is something that you must see yourself.

This was another fun and entertaining episode. And if you have not caught the hint yet, let me spell it out for you. In this episode, Rentaro finds his 8th girlfriend, who is none other than the maid, Meido. But I must also mention the previous two episodes were funnier as the jokes used in the latter half of this episode are a bit simple.
