The 100 Girlfriends Season 2 Episode 10 Recap

The time has come for Aijo to choose another girlfriend to join his ever-growing family. This episode kicks off with the Rentaro household refining their beauty routines and experimenting with makeup under Mimimi’s guidance. Amidst all this, Aijo notices a classmate who rarely draws attention to herself. With long bangs covering her face and eyes, she seems determined to remain unseen.

However, Aijo’s sharp eyes don’t miss her presence. He even ends up saving her from an unexpected accident, a signboard nearly crashes into her, but instead of worrying about the danger, she’s more concerned about her bangs shifting and revealing her face. It’s at that moment that Aijo falls head over heels, recognizing her as his 11th soulmate. They share an immediate connection, but there’s a major obstacle in their budding romance: Meme, the girl in question, is painfully shy.

Her shyness is so extreme that she almost disappears the moment anyone acknowledges her, leaving behind only a handmade stuffed toy as proof of her existence. After a series of encounters filled with hiding and seeking, Aijo eventually convinces her to go out with him. But a new challenge emerges, Meme must gain the confidence to stand before the rest of his girlfriends.

To help her overcome this, Aijo devises an elaborate game of hide-and-seek, where the last one standing receives a special prize. As expected, this episode revolves around Aijo charming yet another girl with his unparalleled charisma. And, of course, it all culminates in a kiss by the end.

Today’s episode started on a pretty serious note as we see Karane dreaming about Aijo leaving her after being fed up with her behavior. This leads to her thinking that if she does not change her tsundere self and become more sociable, Aijo and others will eventually leave her. Karane tries her best to change into someone who can express her feelings properly but still, that does not work.

FInally, she learns about a de-tsundere medicine from Kusuri, which can bring down someone’s tsundere ness drastically. Karane drinks this medicine without letting anyone know and really changes into a more open person. Not only can she now take compliments without any issues, but she can also give praises without batting an eye. Everyone is shocked to see the change and finally realize what has happened.

They all love the new version of Karane, as she is now easier to talk to and spend time with. But Aijo is the first to point out how he loved the true Karane just as much. Even though she struggled to talk to others, she still had a kind heart. Karane also understands that she wants to go back to being her normal self, but things are far too late, and she can not return to being a tsundere anymore.

I liked today’s episode as it showcased some seriousness in the beginning, but quickly returned to its whacky self in the end. It also ended on a nasty cliffhanger, and only in the next episode will we know what happened to Karane.
