That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 3 Episode 5 Overview
That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 3, aka, Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken 3rd Season or simply Tensura 3, is a Japanese light novel illustrated by Kawakami Taiki and written by Fuse. The series initially gained a following through online serialization from 2013 to 2016 on the user-generated novel platform Shōsetsuka ni Narō.
Micro Magazine picked up the series in 2014, subsequently releasing its first light novel volume. Fast forward to October 2023, and the series boasts an impressive 21 volumes. Yen Press secured the licensing rights for the North American market, debuting the first volume in December 2017. Additionally, Tensura has made its mark in the manga world, courtesy of Kodansha.
The opening theme, “PEACEKEEPER,” is performed by STEREO DIVE FOUNDATION, while the ending theme, “Believer,” is sung by Rin Kurusu. The third season of the show premiered on April 5, 2024, on Nippon TV, its affiliates, and BS11.

That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 3 Episode 5 Review and Recap – Hinata Wants Peace
Things are not good on Hinata’s side either, as we see some crazy developments happen during a military council in Lubelius. In this council, we also see the other members of the esteemed 10 Great Saints. From the get-go, it is clear that many of these Saints do not agree with what Hinata has done and how she could not manage to defeat Rimuru.
Just like the meeting that we saw in Jura Tempest federation, here as well important discussions go down. The most essential topic of this council is definitely Rimuru. The Saints agree and disagree on whether Rimuru is going to be a threat to them. If he is a threat, should they confront him?
But if they do, will they be saved from Veldora’s wrath? Not only that, but, we also see an important shift of feelings in Hinata. She was absolutely mad at Rimuru when she first met him, but now it seems she understands that she made a great mistake. She realises that she has been manipulated by the Eastern merchants and is even willing to ask for forgiveness for her past behaviour toward Rimuru.
She, along with Luminous advises the Saints to leave Rimuru alone as he is someone who wants to live with humans on a peaceful note. There is also the fact that they do not know whether they will be able to take on Rimuru and Veldora, at the same time or not. But the moment Hinata thinks everything is going to be good, a strange message comes from Rimuru, which ultimately changes the course of everything.
On the other hand, we see the Falmus Kingdom is also planning something which might be problematic for Rimuru. In such a scenario, what will be his next moves, are something that we will have to sit back and witness.
Verdict
Today’s episode is finally giving us some direction as to what the situation might lead to. And I believe we will soon see another fierce battle between Rimuru and his enemies. This time even Diablo seems frustrated that he could not alter the trajectory of everything.
Things are finally becoming interesting and there is a chance that from the next episode, the plot will become more intense.
