When Linda comes into the picture, the narrative often becomes bizarre.
As the story unfolds, the overarching theme of loss and mourning gradually morphs into an intense exploration of sisterhood. Both Sara and Linda harbour unspoken grievances and past disputes, gradually surfacing against the backdrop of a shared loss.
While Sara’s grief is the central premise, equal importance is given to her older sister, Linda. We are given a glimpse of Linda’s casual and quirky life. The bizarre equation she shares with her boyfriend/live-in partner and the weird quirks they have. The sisters are completely opposite, and that’s what makes the story so interesting to watch.
The chemistry between the sisters is portrayed authentically, mirroring the subtle dynamics of sibling relationships—alternating between startling revelations and moments of shared laughter. Sanna Sundqvist and Charlotta Björck deliver impeccable performances, breathing life into the characters of Sara and Linda.
The movie also delves into Sara’s interactions with Daniel’s parents after his demise. It explores the intricacies of relationships built around a central figure who is no longer alive. Awkwardness, friction, and resentment come to the forefront, creating a precise depiction of the aftermath of loss. However, towards the end, we see things falling into place.

The movie may not resonate with everyone, but for those intrigued by the exploration of human relationships amid personal crises, it proves to be a compelling watch.
