Ted Lasso Season 3 Teaser: Jason Sudeikis is Back and We Believe He’s Only Going to Take Richmond Higher Up!

Rejoice because Ted Lasso Season 3 is finally here with a release date and its first teaser. The popular American sports show has become a cult favourite over the years and, although the new teaser doesn’t reveal a lot, it sure gives us a hint about the direction the show is going to go in next.

The series is developed by Jason Sudeikis, Bill Lawrence, Brendan Hunt and Joe Kelly and is based on a character that is portrayed in a series of promos for NBC Sports’ coverage of England’s Premier League. The cast for the series includes Jason Sudeikis as Ted Lasso, Hannah Waddingham as Rebecca Welton, Jeremy Swift as Leslie Higgins, Phil Dunster as Jamie Tartt, Brett Goldstein as Roy Kent, Brendan Hunt as Coach Beard, Nick Mohammed as Nathan Shelley, Juno Temple as Keeley Jones and Sarah Niles as Dr. Sharon Fieldstone.

Ted Lasso Season 3 teaser description reads: “In this third season of Ted Lasso, the newly-promoted AFC Richmond faces ridicule as media predictions widely peg them as last in the Premier League and Nate (Nick Mohammed), now hailed as the “wonder kid,” has gone to work for Rupert (Anthony Head) at West Ham United. In the wake of Nate’s contentious departure from Richmond, Roy Kent (Brett Goldstein) steps up as assistant coach, alongside Beard (Brendan Hunt).

Meanwhile, while Ted (Jason Sudeikis) deals with pressures at work, he continues to wrestle with his own personal issues back home, Rebecca (Hannah Waddingham) is focused on defeating Rupert and Keeley (Juno Temple) navigates being the boss of her own PR agency. Things seem to be falling apart both on and off the pitch, but Team Lasso is set to give it their best shot anyway.”

In the teaser, we see I Still Believe by Frank Turner playing in the background as various characters write the word “Believe” on paper with Sudeikis entering at the end with a profound way of narrating the teaser to us in a single line.
