Ted Lasso Season 3 Episode 10 reactions are out on Twitter now that the new episode has premiered. The Apple TV+ series has been developed by Jason Sudeikis, Bill Lawrence, Brendan Hunt and Joe Kelly. It stars Sudeikis as Lasso, Hunt as Coach Beard, Hannah Waddhingham as Rebecca Welton, Jeremy Swift as Leslie Higgins, Phil Dunster as Jamie Tartt, Brett Goldstein as Roy Kent, Nick Mohammed as Nathan Shelley, Juno Temple as Keeley Jones, and Anthony Head as Rupert Mannion alongside others.
Titled ‘International Break’, Ted Lasso Season 3 Episode 10 dropped on Apple TV+ on May 17, 2023. Its official synopsis reads: “While some of the Greyhounds head home to play for their countries in international matches , Edwin Akufo brings a business proposal to Rebecca”.
A show like Ted Lasso knows how to humanise every single character we meet along the way. Back in Season 1 we began our journey with a Rebecca Welton whose judgement was clouded by hating distrust of her ex-husband, Rupert Mannion. Not only did she give Ted a hard time, but also renounced a piece of herself along the way. Season 3 Episode 10 again reminded us all of how well-written her character is, but even more so how Hannah Waddhingham lights our screens on fire with her portrayal of the same.
Numerous callbacks and reminders of Season 1 made it to the latest episode of the final season, and they all poignantly mapped out the growth of its main characters, especially Rebecca. For the first time, viewers saw first-hand what her relationship with Rupert was like further humanising the “dirtbag” of a character we all love to hate (all thanks to Anthony Head’s acting).
But, seeing her rise above it all, especially all the negative feelings she harboured for Rupert, was an empowering visual to say the least. Her love for football and how it even brought her closer to her father in some ways finally rose back to the surface with a striking epiphany during her speech against the super league model.
One of the much-loved characters aka Roy’s niece, Phoebe also made a long-awaited comeback in today’s episode. Celebrating her favourite holiday of all – Uncle’s Day – she also invited Jamie, who gifted his “best friend” a meaningful present, and had the fans of the show swooning again. From more soft-hearted moments between Sam and Jamie, Roy and Keeley’s inevitable reunion and Nathan finally mending the relationship with his father, Episode 10 was a tender and warming reminder that the series finale is upon us, and it’s time to prepare farewell speeches.
