One of the world’s biggest pop icons is kicking off her tour, titled, ‘Taylor Swift The Eras Tour’ and the excitement is palpable. People have been waiting for the artist to tour for the past four years since the last big one being the ‘Reputation Tour.’ Since then, she has gone on to release four original albums and two re-recorded albums along with three documentaries. Needless to say, there is so much online content about the artist that fans cannot wait to see her energy live.
She has previously made appearances at some concerts like the 1975 concert in London. This was the first time she had performed any of her songs from the most recently released album Midnights. Since everyone is dying to know more about the tour, here is everything we know about it.
Taylor Swift The Eras Tour Start Date
Taylor Swift will start her US leg of the tour on March 17, 2023, and will perform first at Glendale, most recently and temporarily renamed Swift City, Arizona. She will also be performing there on March 18, 2023. Following that she will be touring all across the country, performing at least two shows in each city from March to August. For now, she has not released any international tour dates for fans outside of the US, the schedule is likely to be out soon.

As mentioned above, Swift will be beginning her US leg of the tour with a stop in Arizona before going to Las Vegas, Nevada; Arlington, Texas; Tampa, Florida; Houston, Texas; Atlanta Georgia; Nashville, Tennessee; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Foxborough, Massachusetts; East Rutherford, New Jersey; Chicago, Illinois; Detroit, Michigan; Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; Minneapolis, Minnesota; Cincinnati, Ohio; Kansas City, Missouri; Denver, Colorado; Seattle, Washington; Santa Clara, California and finally Los Angeles, California.

There will be many guest performers during the tour especially new and upcoming artists who identify as women on the tour. Swift will be joined by Phoebe Bridgers, GAYLE, beabadoobee, Gracie Abrams, OWENN, HAIM, MUNA, girl in red and possibly other surprise guests who haven’t been announced just yet.

Swift had confirmed earlier that since she has been re-releasing her old music, she will be performing songs from all her albums including her debut EP released almost 2 decades ago. The following songs have been confirmed by fans who have been hearing her rehearse the setlist.

Taylor Swift The Eras Tour Fan Expectations
While fans are happy that she has been planning to play some upbeat and happy music, they are also excited to hear some really sad bangers like Mirrorball and You’re On Your Own Kid. Some have also taken the time to make their own outfits, curate their playlists for the trip and opened their tour box to get some serious goodies.
Taylor Nation, the social media body that handles fan interactions and all commercial news of the artist, has also shared the website from where people can buy Tour merchandise corresponding to this as well as all of her past eras. Since the tour is immediately nigh, some fans are also expecting her to announce a new re-record soon. Perhaps, finally, any confusion regarding Speak Now TV and 1989 TV will be cleared.
