Arifureta Season 2 was exactly as good as you expected it to be. If you liked season 1 and are a fan of the series, you will love the second season as it is just more of the same with a few things done better. Meanwhile, if you didn't like Season 1, stay away from Season 2. It had more of the same problems as the first one and did nothing to fix them.
Arifureta Season 2 Episode 12 was a pretty standard finale that didn't take any risks and did everything it could to make the sorry stretch forward about two more seasons. Did you honestly expect anything different?
Arifureta Season 2 Episode 11 was haunted by the show's prior mistakes and the mistreatment of Hajime's classmates, who are as cookie cutter and boring as you can get in this world. It would be better for all parties to go their separate ways.
