Kim Nam-gil, the South Korean actor who has a knack for playing outlaw characters, such as bandits, is all set to guest star on BTS Suga’s web talk show. The Suchwita Episode 23 teaser already plays out like a rollercoaster ride between the two artists, promising even more surprises on the premiere date! The Time to Drink With Suga series (신동엽) has fleshed out into a full-on charming talk show that BTS ARMYs just can’t do without at this point. To kick the drama factor a notch higher, the heartwarming show’s host will be sitting down with one of his fellow group members’ good friend, something fans can keenly look forward to.
As one of the most experienced and loved Korean actors from the cinematic and small screen Hallyu scene, Kim Nam-gil has helmed many leading roles, some of which have been featured in his recent-most outings including K-dramas Island, Song of the Bandits, and other previous movies like The Pirates, Pandora, Memoir of a Murderer, to name a few. With BTS members off to complete their respective military duties, it’s this type of pre-recorded content that is keeping lights on at the ARMY counter and the South Korean septet’s fans well fed in their absence. The upcoming episode will especially play on the fans’ emotional muscle because Nam-gil has been a longtime dear friend of the group’s eldest member, Jin.
Kim Nam-gil and Jin were also seen together in the latter’s short variety series, titled The Drunken Truth. Both Nam-gil and Chef Baek Jong-won starred in the fourth episode of the mini series that released in 2022. Now, cut to 2023, the actor will be sharing the screen with yet another BTS member and his friendship with Jin will become one of the focus points of the conversation between him and Suga. The Song of the Bandits actor will also get a chance to assert his identity as that of a “sweet CEO” while he’s with the BTS member.
Other than the obvious mutual link shared between the two, Suga and Nam-gil will also bond over their unfortunate accidents from the past that also cultivated some memory issues as an aftermath. While the duo is seen passing it off as a moment filled with light laughs, we can already see a new friendship brewing between them in the forthcoming Kim Nam-gil Suchwita episode teaser itself.

Suchwita Episode 23 Release Date
The twenty third episode, featuring one of Jin’s best friends from the entertainment industry, will premiere on YouTube on December 4, 2023, at 10 PM KST, which also happens to be the eldest BTS member’s birthday.
