Succession Season 4 Episode 4 Review

The episode works as a perfect aftermath instalment after Logan Roy’s death. As usual, it features more politics, than mourning. And makes for an emotional and budding causeway, to direct the rest of the season. It also infuses a new kind of tension between the Roy siblings and leads to another element of friction between them.
The episode also achieves some major goals in terms of the story arc. For instance, Logan Roy is dead and hence finally removed the staple of the CEO, Kendall has ascended to the mighty throne, and Roman has made peace with whatever he ventured out to claim in the first place.
There is still a lot of drama waiting to pan out in the successive episodes, along with the usual round of betrayal and sacrifices. Therefore, the game for the top spot might have concluded, but the drama clearly hasn’t.
