Study Group Episode 5 Recap

The episode opens with Han-ul defeating a group of boys in a fight, stating his wish to take over his father after stomping on him. The scene then changes to the study group exchange where the students are waiting for their missing members. However, Ji-u is able to sense the revulsion the students have towards them and when she confronts them, she finds out that it is because the students of the school next door are bullying them.

What’s more, the name of the school is Manik High, the name Ji-u accidentally typed instead of Manil High for Ga-min. While they find this hilarious, they soon call up Ga-min, unaware that he has already entered the school and gotten into a fight with the bullies there. As he unknowingly ends up saving the student from Manil High, he returns for the exchange which is successfully carried on later. When leaving, the boy who saved him apologises to him and confronts him, saying that he is the boy who once denied him entry into his study group back in middle school.

Study Group Episode 5 Review

The episode has been an adventure of its own with various scenes coming together from the Webtoon is an unexpected sequence. While the order is surely not one the Webtoon readers would have expected, I love how everything is still falling into place and giving us a good flow of events. The show is surely not losing out on its entertainment and delivering all the right bits in its own way. As the excitement once again takes over us, I am ready for the upcoming episodes of the show as the first half comes to an end with this episode.
