Still Shining Episode 6 Recap
Episode 6 continues with the embrace; however, Tae-seo wakes up and thinks it’s all a dream, since Eun-a isn’t in the bed. But when the main door opens, and she enters with some snacks, he realises their hug did happen. After he brushes his teeth, Eun-a gives him some grapes to eat, but he keeps staring at her, which prompts her to feed him the grapes and the two laugh.
The following few days, they both regularly hang out and Tae-seo shows her around Seoul. One evening, Tae-seo invites his friend Hyeong-seok to drink and seeing Tae-seo having actual friends, Eun-a gets excited. When Eun-a asks whether Hyeong-seok knows about her, he mentions whether she’s the older woman that Tae-seo dated, and we viewers learn that Tae-seo did like someone else briefly.

After some drinking and chilling, Eun-a and Tae-seo have a private conversation on the terrace. Eun-a asks about his older girlfriend, and Tae-seo says he dated her for a month but had known her for a year. Likewise, when Tae-seo asks Eun-a about her ex, she doesn’t mention that it is Seong-chan, but tells she dated him for three months but knew him for years.
Right then, the topic about their breakup comes up, and Eun-a tells that according to her, they both never really broke up as they never met in person and concluded. As the two talk about how their feelings still are the same, Tae-seo asks whether they’re back together, and Eun-a thanks him, indicating they’re once again a couple. The two walk back home holding hands and giggling.

As usual, they manage their dating life and career. Eun-a is working as a manager at a guesthouse, and she and Tae-seo spend good time. They even share a kiss at his house as a gift for his birthday. It is before the kiss, the two talk about whether they’ll permanently settle in Seoul and return to Yeonwoo. Given his grandparents’ condition and Hui-seo’s situation, Tae-seo states that he might return to Yeonwoo, but Eun-a is still confused.
The following day, So-hyeon comes as a guest to where Eun-a is working. Eun-a simply treats her as a guest, but soon the two end up talking about Mo’s death and Eun-a’s rightful house over lunch. Tearfully, So-hyeon tells that then and now they should take care of each other, but Eun-a has no words to tell. So-hyeon even asks Eun-a to stay with her that night, but the latter avoids.
Meanwhile, Hui-seo surprisingly visits Seoul to meet Tae-seo; however, news about his grandma collapsing breaks him down. Thankfully, A-sol, who dropped by Tae-seo’s apartment, drives Hui-seo back to Yeonwoo and passes the news to Tae-seo. Tae-seo rushes to Yeonwoo and informs Eun-a about the incident.

At the hospital, the grandma gets her treatment, and she seems to be slowly recovering, but Hui-seo’s legs swell up, and he is admitted as well due to the anxiety he endured. As a token of thanks, Tae-seo takes A-sol around Yeonwoo and agrees to drop her at her place in Seoul. But A-sol states that he can drop by his home, and then she’ll drive to her home.
At the same time, Eun-a tries to muster up courage and speak to So-hyeon, but inside her room, she hears Seong-chan’s voice and panics. Just when Eun-a returns to Tae-seo’s place, she sees A-sol and misunderstands it. Similarly, as Tae-seo walks towards his apartment, he spots Seong-chan waiting and realises he’s the guy whom Eun-a was dating.
Still Shining Episode 6 Review

Why did even A-sol and Seong-chan come out of the blue? Agh, I’m so mad. Tae-seo and Eun-a were finally having a good time, but the two supporting characters decided to play a joke. Hopefully, the two won’t break up again (they’ll most likely do) because it’s frustrating. Eun-a seems to hate Yeonwoo town after her dad’s death, but she needs to face the truth somehow.
With his family situation crumbling, Tae-seo needs to take the lead and guide his family because if grandma passes away, grandpa is going to become lonely, Hui-seo is going to lose his mind, and their stability will crash. Hence, it is evident that Tae-seo is going to give up on Seoul, return to Yeonwoo and take care of his family. With his situation going on, Eun-a is also going to end the relationship again as she won’t want to burden Tae-seo with his crisis going on. Man, this is awkward!
