Star Wars: The Bad Batch Episode 12 Recap: Rescue on Ryloth

Star Wars: The Bad Batch Episode 12, titled Rescue on Ryloth, is now streaming on Disney+ Hotstar. Directed by Nathaniel Villanueva, the 25 minutes episode is written by Jennifer Corbett. Dee Bradley Baker has voiced the Clone Force 99 and Captain Howzer. The others who lent their voice to the characters in today’s episode are Michelle Ang (Omega), Vanessa Marshall (Hera), Noshir Dalal (Admiral Rampart) Robin Atkin Downes (Cham Syndulla).

The Bad Batch Episode 12 Recap contains spoilers. In Rescue on Ryloth, Admiral Rampart and Captain Howzer warn Cham Syndulla that they will find his daughter Hera Syndulla. He warns them of severe consequences and turning the people of Ryloth against them. Hera is hiding behind the rocks and seeks help from the Bad Batch, aka Clone Force 99. Hunter, Echo, Wrecker and Tech believe that the mission is not worth risking their lives, but Omega insists they should help Hera.

It seems like everyone is focused only on Ryloth. Crosshair and his troop also arrive on the plan to help Rampart and others in finding Hera. When the Bad Batch arrives at Ryloth, they see tight security there. They make a plan on how to make their way in the Capitol to save Cham Syndulla and other hostages.

In Devil’s Deal, Hera tells Omega that she wants to fly a spaceship. In The Bad Batch Episode 12, she finally makes her wish come true, and Hera flies a shuttle with Omega to divert the stormtroopers army. It’s chaos and fights amongst the Clone Force 99 and the Empire troops. Hunter, Echo, Tech and Wrecker succeed in rescuing Cham and others with some help from Captain Howzer.

Cham tells Captain Howzer to join them as the Empire won’t spare him. Howzer refuses to escape and says that he has to look after his men and fight for Ryloth’s safety. Unfortunately, when he warns his army against the Empire, they call him a traitor and capture him. Crosshair fails in attacking his former fellow fighters once again.

Disney+ The Bad Batch Episode 12 ends with Hunter and others flying in the spaceship. Cham and his family and friends decide to stay low until they figure out how to save Ryloth. They talk about the ‘big war’ that will be coming soon. At Ryloth, Rampart tells Crosshair men like Hunter, and his team should fight for the Empire. Crosshair asks for his permission to hunt them out, and Rampart answers, ‘Granted’.

Star Wars: The Bad Batch Episode 12 Recap: Is it worth watching?

Today’s episode of the Star Wars show was another fight between Clone Force 99 and Empire troopers on another planet. It has been 12 episodes, and we are still trying to figure out what creator Dave Filoni wants to show us. It’s time for the makers to bring in an intriguing twist before fans run out of patience.
