Single’s Inferno Season 5 Final Couples

Amid a lot of speculations, the final couples this season were definitely something to look out for. While some of them were obvious from day 1, others came as a surprise.

Choi Mina Sue & Lee Sung-hun

Mina Sue has been the talk of the season, with her changing her mind every few minutes and leaving everyone on edge about whom she really wants. She has single-handedly kept us all invested this season with her antics, but her sincerity shines through as well. Sung-hun has been by her side through it all, becoming friends while keeping his true feelings at bay. Thankfully, Mina Sue finally made up her mind after her disastrous last date with Seung-il, and it took only one episode for them to walk out with one another hand-in-hand.

Park Hee-sun & Lim Su-been

Su-been’s disastrous Paradise date with Min-gee, although very heart-fluttering, left a bad impression on Hee-sun, who was miffed when she learnt from Seung-il that Su-been slept on the same bed as Min-gee. Thankfully, the two overcome the obstacle after sharing their feelings in private and eventually walk out of Inferno hand in hand.

Song Seung-il & Kim Min-gee

Seung-il has really taken everyone for a ride this season, especially Min-gee, who has been pining for him throughout. At some point, it felt like she was completely over him. Thankfully, in episode 11, the two patch up after Seung-il’s disastrous Paradise date with Mina Sue and choose Min-gee. He realises that he is the happiest and calmest with her, and the two walk out of Inferno holding hands… and then him giving her a piggyback ride!

Lee Joo-young & Kim Jae-jin/Youn Hyun-jae

Joo-young has been pursued by Hyun-jae throughout the season. In a surprise twist, Jae-jin entered the chat with his light-hearted charms and swept her off her feet. His easygoing attitude is probably what won her over, and it was clear throughout that she was smitten by him and enjoyed his company. Thus, their walking out hand-in-hand does not come as a surprise.

Kim Go-eun & Shin Hyeon-woo/Woo Sung-min/Jo I-geon

Last but not least, we have the love “square” of Go-eun and her admirers. Go-eun has been torn primarily between Sung-min and I-geon throughout the season, as the way the two of them fought for her attention. It’s clear that she has been herself the most with I-geon, but her relationship with Sung-min also brought out a different side to her. In the end, she chooses Sung-min, leaving the hosts shocked in the process.
