Shooting Stars Episode 11 Recap: Tae-sung Receives A Cryptic Message

Shooting Stars(별똥별) is a 2022 Korean Drama featuring Lee Sung-kyung, Kim Young-dae, Yoon Jong-hoon, Kim Yoon-hye, Park So-jin and Lee Jung-shin. The series is directed by Lee Soo-hyun and runs for 16 episodes. Shooting Stars Episode 11 has a runtime of 61 minutes and is titled Warning! Do Not Fall For Good Looks.

In Shooting Stars Episode 11, a new rumour about Tae-sung dating someone has broken out. The person in the picture is his mother, Eun Si-woo and Han-byul has been discussing with her boss what to release as a statement when Si-woo comes inside his office. Han-byul has written that an unfriendly person barged into Tae-sung’s house without permission and hugged him. Though Si-woo doesn’t like the statement, it is indeed true.

Tae-sung has been upset because of the scandal and all the people close to him know how to make him feel better. First, his boss greets him at the shooting set with a sack full of candies like Santa Claus and right after him, Kang Yu-sung whom he regards as a brother brings him his favourite snacks. He asks them to not treat him like a kid but he is happy to receive the snacks. And lastly, his girlfriend visits him with Tteokbokki and Sundae. Now, he doesn’t need anything else to feel better.

Ki-ppeum’s boss has asked her to file exclusive news brought by him or she will get fired. It is wedding news about a singer and Ki-ppeum wanted to fact-check it but her boss didn’t let her do so. The news turns out to be untrue and Ki-ppeum faces a lot of backlashes and also receives a lawsuit. She goes to Soo-hyuk for help and he resolves it quickly. The lawsuit was filed by Soo-hyuk’s brother who is going to marry the singer in question. This incident brings Soo-hyuk and Ki-ppeum closer to each other.

Tae-sung receives a cryptic message from an unknown person which tells him to not trust a kind face and sends a picture from his anti-fan club. The picture is of an ID card from Starforce Entertainment. Tae-sung looks at everyone suspiciously when enters the office and informs Yu-sung about the messages. While discussing the matter with Han-byul, Yu-sung finds out who the real culprit is.

Just when one rumour died down, a rumour about Tae-sung and Eun Si-woo’s relationship created a sensation. At the same time, Tae-sung receives pictures of Yu-sung and Si-woo together which leads him to believe that Yu-sung is that anti-fan who has been leaking his information behind his back. He doesn’t pick up calls from Yu-sung and collapses among the crowd of journalists flashing cameras on his face. Before closing his eyes, he sees Han-byul running toward him and says thanks to her for not breaking his trust.

In Shooting Stars Episode 11, the anti-fans have taken full charge of destroying Tae-sung’s personal and professional life. Tae-sung has been upset in the entire episode and one time he tried to have a good time with Han-byul, it was also ruined by an anti-fan who told Han-byul that she is like cheap food that even celebrities crave sometimes. A popular celebrity’s personal life being ruined by haters and media alike is discussed but not taken seriously.
