The sharks and the audiences get ready to get awed another day with a fresh batch of innovative Indians who want to make a difference in the world! Anuva Kakkar introduces us to Tiggle, a chocolate drink that is ready to make. Kakkar makes a very interesting point about how no one really tried to innovate the hot chocolate market in India, although it’s one of the best-selling products in most cafes. With 37,000 customers reached, Anuva hopes to reach every home in India with her wide range of chocolate products for any weather.
Her chirpy attitude and delicious products seem to win the Sharks’ hearts although they bring up concerns about Tiggle’s target audience. Anuva tries to bring forth her idea behind targeting adults and they eventually discuss the numbers. The panellists get an in-depth breakdown from Anuva which impresses them thoroughly. However, their thoughts regarding scaling a brand like this in India bring up some very interesting discussions that might be invaluable for other budding entrepreneurs who might be watching from home.

The next set of entrepreneurs is a group of three (Yash Sakhlecha, Rij Eappen and Dishant Sanghvi) who introduce us to Wyld, a social currency-powered payments card that lets people with more than 1000 followers earn money through their posts. The founders provide the Sharks with their own cards after completing their pitch and, although everyone is a little confused about operations, they cannot ignore the fact that the marketing is innovative.
Although the Sharks are very interested and taken with this innovative idea that makes use of the social media fiends in all of us, the Sharks also have many imperative questions that make them question the viability of scaling this venture. An offer war breaks out among the Sharks, who all seem to be very impressed after the pitch and the business. In the end, the founders go with Anupam’s offer.
Next, we meet founders Mohit Sharma and Mahek Mody of upliance.ai, a smart appliance that can help users make innovative food that helps them get over the boredom of homecooked food. The patented technology can make 500+ recipes which impresses everyone. The founders also give a demo of the appliance and cook kadai paneer for the panellists. However, the Sharks’ questions make a difference in that initial impression, resulting in them feeling doubts about the appliance and whether it truly does what it says that it can. Plus, the founders also failed to impress the Sharks by giving them confusing numbers about their competitors, leaving everyone looking a little annoyed.

In the end, Piyush gives them an offer, but the founders and the Sharks are unable to come to a mutual decision and, in the end, the founders go back home empty-handed.
Shark Tank India Season 3 Episode 8 Review
This episode has been a whirlwind of experiences. From really innovative products to some unconvincing ones, the Sharks have been given some interesting choices to consider. In the end, it’s the Sharks who bring in the real interest in this episode with this very engaging and insightful scrutiny that will make anyone take a second look at the products. Their ability to see through the glitz of the pitches and ask the real question that will haunt them in reality if they make an offer is really eye-opening and exciting. There are moments in this episode that will truly give you a buzz. That being said, I think the products in this episode were a little bit of a letdown and didn’t really break the barrier of innovation as one would expect. However, it’s an insightful watch nevertheless.
