Shark Tank India Season 2 Episode 30 Reactions: Namita Thapar’s Diction Switch From “Expertise” to “Cluttered” Has the Fans Hooked

Shark Tank India Season 2 episode 30 premiered on Sony LIV and Sony Entertainment Television on February 10, 2023, at 10PM IST. Payel Seth is the show’s creative director, while it’s been produced by Studio NEXT, with Ravikesh Vatsa as its writer. The show is now hosted by renowned comedian Rahul Dua, and is joined by six sharks, namely, Anupam Mittal Founder-CEO of Shaadi.com – People Group; Aman Gupta, Co-Founder-CMO of boAt; Namita Thapar, Executive Director of Emcure Pharmaceuticals; Vineeta Singh, Co-Founder-CEO of SUGAR Cosmetics; Peyush Bansal, Founder-CEO of Lenskart.com and Amit Jain, Co-Founder-CEO of CarDekho Group and InsuranceDekho.com.

Episode 30’s official longline reads, “The founders of the iconic Butter Chicken ‘Daryaganj’, a unique electric invention for the regular cycle by ‘Dhruv Vidyut’ and ‘CELLBELL’ a company dedicated to providing quality gaming chairs. Which pitch will impress the sharks?” Aman finally got the chance to profess his deepest expression of love for Butter Chicken on the show, and all credits for the same go to the ‘Daryaganj’ pitch.

He’s constantly been seen talking about how much he likes it ever since the show started, but with this episode, he now holds an unbreakable bond with his ‘soul food’ as he invests in the legacy company of the Butter Chicken’s inventor. Other than that, he also partnered with Peyush to fund the ‘Dhruv Vidyut’ mission, and the same deal was also joined in by Anupam as well, making it the most out of the box pitch of the season since the founder had no intentions of getting an investment (in the form of money) from the Sharks, but only their time and expertise in the true sense of it all.

A few episodes ago, Namita Thapar switched her response for backing out of deals. From making claims of not having the “expertise” in a particular niche to the market being “cluttered”, she’s now taught a new word to the Indian audiences. Post the broadcast of the latest episode, Twitter was brimming with responses like “”This is a very cluttered market” is the new “I don’t have expertise””.

Further down are some reactions of the fans after witnessing the latest three pitches of the day. Namita’s responses to the pitches on the show seemed to have garnered a separate fanbase for themselves.
