Shark Tank India Season 2 episode 24 and 25 premiered on Sony LIV and Sony Entertainment Television on February 2 and 3, 2023, respectively at 10PM IST. Payel Seth is the show’s creative director, while it’s been produced by Studio NEXT, with Ravikesh Vatsa as its writer. The show is now hosted by renowned comedian Rahul Dua, and is joined by six sharks, namely, Anupam Mittal Founder-CEO of Shaadi.com – People Group; Aman Gupta, Co-Founder-CMO of boAt; Namita Thapar, Executive Director of Emcure Pharmaceuticals; Vineeta Singh, Co-Founder-CEO of SUGAR Cosmetics; Peyush Bansal, Founder-CEO of Lenskart.com and Amit Jain, Co-Founder-CEO of CarDekho Group and InsuranceDekho.com.
The 24th episode saw pitches from businesses like ‘GEEANI’, the smallest tractor design in India; the taste of Italian love with ‘Amore’ and its range of 100% vegetarian gelato and sorbetto, and ‘Leafy Affair’, a botanical lifestyle brand. On the other hand, the 25th entry of the season met the next door online kabadiwala ‘Scrap Uncle’, ‘Sharma Ji ka Aata’ and curly hair solutions from ‘Manetain’.
Peyush Bansal was missing from both these episodes, while Amit Jain was welcomed back. The “GEEANI’ tractors pitch even saw the Sharks boarding the tractor all together as a unit and enjoying a jolly ride around the set of the business reality show. If the previous episode had them all united and acting like buddies, the latest one stirred up drama between Amit and Anupam, who were found to be at odds with each other. If some fans were requesting Peyush to come back, others were lauding Anupam for giving ‘Sharma Ji Ka Aata’ the right evaluation and saving them from an offer with the debt option.
Initial episodes with Amit had the audience respecting his take on the financial matters and everything, but with the 25th episode, things have changed drastically. His attitude seems to have soured up, which often reflected in the ‘Tom and Jerry’ styled altercations between him and Anupam.
