  1. As a complete simpelton with no background in Paleantology, biology or any associated disciplies the Neanderthals remain the most puzzling mystery. As I understand they had larger skulls/heads than the Homa Sapiens which from what I understand meant bigger brain size. Seems they were well adpated to tool making a sign of intelligence. But, perhaps they lacked the aggressiveness of the Homo Sapiens who as I understand are largely responsibe for their extinction. Apparently, they were on the run from the Homo Sapiens and the last of the few that remained got destroyed by this massive volcano near Naples, Italy. I an eager to watch the documentary.

  2. One thing that was never mentioned was the Neanderthal Hyloid bone found at Kebara Cave in Israel. It is modern in form Also, Neanderthals had the same version of the FOXP2 gene as modern humans. Both of these indicate that Neanderthals were capable of language. Also I would have liked subtitles for the parts of the dialog that were in French or Kurdish,
