Search: The Naina Murder Case Ending Explained
The series opens with Sanyukta coming across her replacement, Jai, at the office. She’s taking voluntary retirement to focus on her family, but by the evening, she is asked to stay back and help in the case when a young college student, Naina, is found murdered inside a local youth leader’s car. The story immediately gets complicated, and although she tries to keep everything under wraps, it proves difficult when the details are constantly leaked to the press.
The first doubts are cast on Naina’s boyfriend, Ojas, and her friend group, including Lavanya and Aarav. At first, everyone denies knowing anything, but soon, things come to light when they probe further and find out that Naina had a second phone, which she used to talk to someone late at night and was being gifted expensive bags. Sayukta continues to try and figure out who it could be while piecing together what happened that fateful night.

After talking to all of her friends and one of her teachers, she realised that Naina had fought with her friends and had then gone to Randhir’s home to deliver an old cycle. Afterwards, she had gone to meet Tusshar, which is a surprising twist, and it leaves her stumped. In a surprising twist, Sayukta also learns that there might be a mole in the department, which further confuses her.
Who is the killer?
In episode 6, through the secret chat app on Naina’s second phone, Sayukta learns that there was a second person with whom Naina was talking. The series ends on a cliffhanger, but we see a new person being introduced who might have the answers that the police are looking for. Meanwhile, we also see that Jai ends up shooting Vinayak while trying to save Uddhav, but we don’t learn who the mole could be. With several questions and a new character, viewers will simply have to wait to get all the answers as new episodes are released!
