The fencing boys are here, as Run Jin Episode 27 has our beloved hamster trying out a new sport with his friend Oh Sanguk. Once again showing off his athletic skills, Jin not only surprises the audience with his gifted self and flexibility but also charms the audience with his looks in a fencing outfit. Bringing us his princely vibes, this episode is charming, playful, and entertaining for the audience.
Run Jin started on August 13th, 2024, after BTS Jin was discharged from the military and took over the group’s popular show Run BTS. With the other members still in the military, Jin took over and showed him engaging in various activities, adventures, and more, often with guests like TXT’s Yeonjun, Lee Yi-kyung, Jonathan Yiombi, and more! With a new episode released every Tuesday, he has been entertaining fans around the world as we await the return of all our beloved BTS members this year!
The latest episode of the show has two national level fencing champions as guests; one is Jin’s friend Oh Sanguk, and the other is Gu Bongil. While the former arrives earlier and gives Jin a quick lesson on fencing jargans and techniques, the latter arrives and joins Sanguk in showing us some skills that are used in a real match. Soon after, Jin joins in and competes against Gu Bongil to smoothen his skills in the game.
Following these special lessons, the staff give the men challenges with the first being piercing a fruit. The champions make it clear that doing this depends on luck, and we see so soon when Sanguk is left without piercing any fruit. Meanwhile, Bongil manages to pierce a fruit, and so does Jin, who then tries to make Sanguk admit his defeat, which the latter refuses to do. After this, we have a hand fencing match between Bongil and Jin, where the men have to dab their hands in flour and attack each other.

Jin reminds them of Jonathan during this, and while Bongil steps into the match carefully, he soon defeats Jin with his swift movements. The next match is between Jin and Sanguk where they have to pop the balloon on each other. The latter is given a handicap here and handed a toy sword while Jin is handed a proper sword. This time, Jin wins the match and celebrates his victory in Sanguk’s style after asking him how he celebrated his Olympic win.
With all these challenges coming to an end, it is now time for Jin and Sanguk’s clock-out challenge where they need to team up against Bongil and his protégé. Sanguk needs to guide Jin as he faces off against Bonil’s protégé Choi Harang, aged 12. Soon, the match begins and while Jin restarts the game after some losses (angering the little protégé), he still doesn’t manage to take the final win. However, he does surprise everyone with his wonderful performance as his one-day learning manages to give Choi Harang a good game. Finally, the two friends are left behind to draw a QR code before they can leave and thus bringing an end to this wonderful episode.

The episode once again brought out our playful Jin, who keeps the environment on his show peaceful, entertaining, and accepting of every guest, regardless of age. The way he makes everyone open up to him is worthy of applause, while his beautiful visuals always steal the show. Seeing Jin in a fencing outfit was refreshing and brought out a princely aura from him, which was surely blinding. Meanwhile, seeing him look tiny in between his guests was another cute moment that we surely enjoyed.
Altogether, this episode has added to the entertainment of this show and we cannot wait for the next episode where the guest is none other than actor and idol, Buried Hearts star Park Hyung-sik.
