Rubeus Hagrid: 5 Iconic Moments of the Gentle Giant From the Harry Potter Series

1. The first time Hagrid Met Harry

Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone introduced the entire fandom to an array of characters, including our main protagonist Harry himself. But one of the most rememberable parts of the first film was Hagrid’s entry and the comical events that followed.

Who can forget Hagrid turning Dudley into a pig, and starting a laughter riot with a prolonged tail? In this particular scene, you can see Hagrid stating the full name of Professor Snape and retracting it immediately.

3. Hagrid and his pets

Who can forget about the different animals that Hagrid kept as his pets? From Fang, the large Baorhound, Buckbeak the hippogriff, to Fluffy the three-headed dog. His choice in keeping pets was quite unusual and big(literally).
