Revenge of Others (3인칭 복수) is a Korean drama-thriller series that brings out the sister’s desperation to find out the truth of her brother’s so-called suicide. Directed by Kim Yoo-jin, the Korean series stars Shin Ye-eun, Lomon, Seo Ji-hoon, Chae Sang-woo, Lee Soo-min, and Jung Soo-bin, alongside other cast members.
The 12 episodes show premiered on November 9, 2022, and releases 2 new episodes every week on Wednesday at 1:30 PM IST on Disney+. Revenge of Others episode 9 has a run time of 58 minutes.
The synopsis of the show reads:
THE SERIES DEPICTS A TEEN REVENGE THRILLER WHEN CHAN-MI, WHO SEARCHES FOR THE TRUTH ABOUT HER TWIN BROTHER’S DEATH, AND SOO-HEON, WHO STARTS REVENGE AGAINST AN UNFAIR WORLD, GET CAUGHT UP IN A SHOCKING INCIDENT THAT SHOOK HER LIFE

Revenge of Others episode 9 begins with the last scene of the previous episode where we see Soo-heon near Jung-gyeong’s camping car. However, this time we see O-sung keeping an eye out for what is happening through the cameras he had set up earlier that day.
As a figure in black is seen moving towards the car, we see Soo-heon’s mother’s condition deteriorating in the hospital while the scene shifts to a day before the current situation.
A-jung visits Soo-heon at the hospital before school and tells him about the request made by Min Seon-ha’s father which he accepts. Chan-mi follows behind after A-jung leaves and tells Soo-heon to take care of himself. Soo-heon gives her the polaroids he found in O-sung’s drawer while O-sung finds them to be missing.

Later, O-sung’s father calls for him about his brawl with Soo-heon before his arrest and wonders if Soo-heon is the culprit who intentionally planted the evidence against his son at the crime scene. He assures O-sung that he will investigate this matter while the latter is ready with a plan.
He tells Jung-gyeong to continue harassing Seon-ha so that Soo-heon will attack him once again while O-sung himself goes off to get his polaroids from Soo-heon. However, he later finds out that Chan-mi has the pictures when he sees her talking to Jae-beom.
Meanwhile, Chan-mi asks Jae-beom to teach her how to drive but shifts the topic to the picture she has received and asks him about it. Unfortunately, Jae-beom remembers nothing and later goes to ask O-sung about the friends’ group that they had.
O-sung avoids him and tells him that he is busy uploading pictures on his Instagram which is speedily gaining followers. Ji-hyun finds pictures of herself on his posts and tells him to take them down but O-sung has a plan and these pictures are needed to gain followers.
Elsewhere, detective Jong-kook tells So-jung about footage that he has acquired from the terrace of the crime scene which shows that there were two people who had entered the car repair shop that night. While one entered from the front door, another person entered through the back right after Soo-heon left.
So-jung is excited by this clue, while on the other hand, Jung-gyeong continues to harass Seon-ha who is unable to keep it together in front of her father. Her father assures her that they will get their revenge and O-sung overhears this.
He tells Jung-gyeong to be prepared because Soo-heon is soon going to attack him and tells him to not fight back. Meanwhile, he puts up cameras around the camping car and is ready with his trap to catch Soo-heon.
The next day, Soo-heon follows Jung-gyeong around while elsewhere, Jae-beom teaches Chan-mi to drive. When he asks her the reason for suddenly trying to learn how to drive, she tells him that it is to help her take the culprit who killed her brother in a secluded place and get her answers.
With her secret in his hand, he tells her about having a twin brother who was short-lived.

Revenge of Others Episode 9 Ending
Revenge of Others episode 9 ends later that evening when we are brought back to the first scene where Soo-heon is about to enter the camping van, while the news of his mother passing away is unable to make its way to him.
Chan-mi gets the news from the gym director and she gets Jae-beom, A-jung and So-yeon’s help to find him. However, they soon find out that O-sung is live-streaming Jung-gyeong which is the trap that he has set for Soo-heon.
Unable to find Soo-heon, So-yeon and A-jung are frustrated and see a figure in black entering the camping van and attacking Jung-gyeong. O-sung soon enters the car and removes the mask from the figure only to find out that it is none other than Jae-beom.
Elsewhere, Chan-mi is seen sitting beside Soo-heon in Jae-beom’s car as he sheds his tears while driving to the hospital.
Revenge of Others Episode 9 Review
This episode has taken the route of capturing our attention with an intriguing end scene and we are not complaining because it was worth it. Jae-beom has definitely taken the spotlight in this episode with the end scene and also the secret that he shares with Chan-mi.
I am definitely shipping Chan-mi with Jae-beom after this episode, but the fear of him turning out the culprit is keeping me on hold. However, I am pretty sure that the two are destined to share a special connection just by being fellow twins who have lost the person closest to them.
Finally, the show brings yet another intriguing episode which is more on the lighter side because it was only the ending scene that caught our attention.
