Earlier today, superstar Rajinikanth took to Twitter to share his views on the cinematic experience brought to him by Kantara A Legend and these words are certainly not those of disappointment. Praising the young actor, director and writer Rishab Shetty, he congratulates the whole cast and crew for the masterpiece that they put forth together.

Following the tweet made by Rajinikanth, Rishab Shetty replies that this is a dream come true for him who has been a fan of the superstar since childhood. He calls the Thalaiva his inspiration to do more local stories and inspire the Indian audience with such folklore.

The film follows the strife between Kambala (Rishab Shetty) and the DRFO officer Murali (Kishore) as the latter tries to convert the land of the former into a forest reserve. The mystical element that appears in the movie along with folklore that tells us that some things should not be trifled with catches our attention and draws us into the intriguing plot of the magical forest.
