Rafuchakkar Plot
Disguising himself as a rich airline guy, athletic gym rat, and such, a con man who mainly targeted women to cheat and defraud money gets arrested. But due to the lack of evidence, the truth stands sealed. Will the courtroom drama prove that Pawan is the scammer and elaborate on why he committed those crimes? Or will the mastermind escape the play?

The episode starts with a flashback where Pawan comes across a data entry job that only requires a computer with a specific speed. Pawan invests in the computer and starts to earn money. For a simple work, he gets paid around 10,000 rupees. But when the electricity bill hikes to 30,000 bucks for everyone in his neighbourhood who bought such a computer, he realises something is off. He learns about sitcoin and how the data entry job is linked to it.
Pawan learns that the corporation owned by Pathania is responsible for the sitcoins. So he joins there with a fake resume and erases the data, leaving many rich people to lose their money. But it doesn’t end there because Pathania’s wealth is far more than what he assumed. All these events are explained by Ritu in the court and she proceeds to add another backstory of Pawan’s father.
In the past, when Pawan’s father works at a bank, he points out a loan scam to his manager. Since the manager is the criminal, he frames the case on Pawan’s father leaving them shattered for years. Ritu explains that the man behind the loan scam is Pathania and this incident is another reason why Pawan decided to con Pathania. Based on these stories, the court keeps Pawan in custody.
Meanwhile, Pathania lashes at Ritu and Shaurya for exposing critical information. Ritu politely tells him that every truth will come out and the only way is through the hard disk of Pathania that contains all information. Nevertheless, the hard disk is now missing, and the chances of Pawan having it are high.
Pawan opens the truth to Jaidev and both of them set a deal with Ritu and Shaurya. Pawan agrees to confess the truth based on criteria which we will know in the next episode.
Rafuchakkar Episode 8 Review
Yes, finally half of the truth is out. The reason behind Pawan’s fraudulent activities is Pathania since that man ruined his father’s reputation and put a burden on many families including his. To seek revenge and bring out the real villain, Pawan has decided to be the brilliant scapegoat. We’re shown a reason why Ajay Chauhan’s character was developed which is to make Pathania’s daughter forget Pawan’s face since she caught him in the server room late at night.
We’re yet to understand the link between the characters Kirtan Gada and Sathish Chaudary with Pathania which we will soon find out. It’s also revealed that Ashfaq has been guiding Pawan all this while since the latter sought his help. As we know Ashfaq is a tech genius, his guidance has helped Pawan to crack the systems.
From this episode, there’s this feeling that Ritu and Shaurya will not only prove Pawan guilty but bring justice by revealing Pathania’s scams. Ritu has already opened up about Pathania’s scam that ruined Pawan’s father’s career. So there are chances of Ritu play-pretending as Pathania’s lawyer but is in a will to pull his criminal records out.
Let’s not forget that Ritu’s husband is in ties with Pawan (we don’t know how they got together) and Ritu has the pendrive with certain confidential data. Hence there are high chance of Ritu moving the case to bring down the parliament figure Pathania. Now that Jaidev and Pawan are making a deal with Ritu, she might also agree to get Pawan out of prison life by distracting the case on Pathania.
Some missing parts of this series are Preeti, the ex-fiance of Harpreet Singh. Where is she? They stated that she is in Canada but isn’t it quite a drag? And where is the Harpreet Singh guy? Since he made up the story of Manjeet Singh, why isn’t a conclusion given for that? Perhaps, in the last episode will we find out some solid conclusion to these characters or would they fade out? Honestly, if the directors make up a scene where indeed Manjeet Singh was real, it would be such a scorer.
As previously told, the purpose behind scamming the women as Kirtan Gada and getting involved with Arjun Chautala as Sathish Chaudhary stands as a mystery. Another missing aspect is regarding Pawan’s wife Nupur. She was seen on call with someone by Shaurya Chautala and we do not know who it is. It is after this phone call, Nupur demanded the truth from Pawan. This anonymous person stands as another enigma.
Final Thoughts
If the ninth episode is the finale, then the directors have to bring a perfectly aligned conclusion that will answer every question because there are still certain loopholes. Apart from this as a viewer, there isn’t any other expectation because so far the directors have unraveled everything neatly leaving some questions. If the remaining concerns are given an end, Rafuchakkar is a win.
