Korean dramas are on a roll nowadays, every few months we get introduced to a new and fresh story that represents daily life, in a mesmerising manner. Such one story of daily struggles is Race (레이스), an upcoming office drama that many officegoers might relate with. It will deal with the subject of struggling job search to dealing with office politics while working in one.
The series has been written by acclaimed screenwriter Kim Roo-ri whose work you might have seen in Hyena and directed by Lee Dong-yoon, known for his works – Fated to Love You, 20th Century Boy and Girl. The drama will also feature a popular K-pop idol from the group TVXQ U-Know Yun-ho.
Race Cast
The ensemble cast of the series includes Lee Yeon-hee as Park Yoon-jo, Moon So-ri as Goo Yi-jung, Hong Jong-hyun as Ryu Jae-min, Jung Yun-ho as Seo Dong-hoon and many others.

Race Plot/Synopsis
The story will follow Park Yoon-jo (Lee Yeon-hee), who has no qualifications but has a passion for joining a large company, is embroiled in a recruitment scandal and struggles to survive at work. Yoon-jo was working at a small public relations agency but had no educational background, family background, and specifications to boast about. However, at the recommendation of her friend, Ryu Jae-min, she joins the same big corporation as a contract worker through non-discriminatory recruitment.
However, the reality is quite different from what she expected. Even her friend is a completely different person at work & she struggles to prove her worth, despite having years of experience that could get her the position of an assistant manager. Yet she starts her career again from the bottom while dealing with various issues that come her way.
The biggest misunderstanding about her recruitment scandal might come from her friendship with Jung Yun-ho, who played the role of young CEO Seo Dong-hun. As seen in the trailer, both the characters seem to uplift each other’s spirits when they are dealing with something or feeling down.
It can be speculated that a rumour about her closeness to the CEO might become a roadblock in her office life, as the other employees might not see eye to eye, thinking she got the job through connections. Apart from that, the drama will be showing how a PR company functions & the kind of employees, one might come across.
Race Released Date and Trailer
