Queen of Tears Episode 2 Preview

The first episode served as the introduction to the couple- Hyun-woo and Hae-in. Despite being known as the ‘fairytale couple’, their lives are far from that. With Hae-in being the CEO of Queens Group Department Stores and Hyun-woo leading the legal team, they lead very busy lives. But, they remain as cold as strangers to each other, even though they pretend to be a warm and loving couple to the world.

As Hyun-woo is not in the same ‘league’ as Hae-in, he is treated as a worker in her family. Living with his in-laws is already a nightmare to him but he also tends to their legal issues, even if his job doesn’t require him to. From helping other family members out with legal issues to keeping an eye out for any trouble coming towards the group, he acts as a watchdog.

After years of working tirelessly and keeping a cold relationship with his wife, he had enough and tried to get a divorce from her but in the end, he falters as he receives shocking news from her- she is diagnosed with a terminal disease and she has only three months to live. How will he get a divorce now? Will he stay with her till the end?

But he gets confusing feelings of jealousy and anger as a person from Hae-in’s past comes back into her life- Park Sung Hoon’s character Yoon Eun-sung. He even questions himself as the two become closer with every interaction. Will his feelings for Hae-in come back? Will he fall in love with her again? Will Hae-in find comfort with someone else?
