Sa-ra thinks of ways to let her team know about Yul-seong taking her away and records it in the dashcam of the car she is put into, as she has already punctured its tyre. Yul-seong then puts her into another vehicle and takes her away while Ki-joon and the others arrive to see the place empty. Ki-joon then sees the dashcam and understands that Sa-ra must’ve left behind a clue for them.

Meanwhile, Yul-seong ties Sa-ra inside a container near the port and once again tells her to confess. However, Sa-ra is hell-bent on not saying anything and tells him to reveal how her mother died. Yul-seong is not ready to say anything and warns Sa-ra to confess as the container she is in will be shipped off in the next five minutes and will open only 2 months later.
This scares Sa-ra but she says nothing while Yul-seong notices that his recorder has been on since the time he took her away from his hideout. He warns Sa-ra once again but Sa-ra begs him to reveal the truth about her mother’s death. In the final moments, Yul-seong finally confesses his crimes and the container after handing Sa-ra a knife.
Sa-ra quickly cuts the ropes but is late and unable to do anything after the container has been lifted. Meanwhile, Ki-joon and the others are searching for Sa-ra around the port but don’t find her. Ki-joon, however, sees the container being moved to the ship and stops them to look for her.

He finally sees Sa-ra inside of the container and quickly gets her out of there. Sa-ra immediately hugged him as she feared that he wouldn’t be able to find her on time. Elsewhere, Yul-seong is stopped by the prosecutors and Sa-ra joins in on the fun only to see Yul-seong trying to hide his crimes again.
This time she doesn’t hold back and throws a kick at Yul-seong, after which she takes out his phone and hands it over to the prosecutors as evidence. The storm finally settles with this and Sa-ra soon makes a trip to her mother’s grave with Seo-yun. Ki-joon follows behind and introduces himself as the prosecutor she wanted to meet before her untimely death.
He then assures Sa-ra’s mother that he will take care of them and says something to Seo-yun after which he nods and walks away with Ki-joon. Sa-ra is filled with joy upon seeing this scene and sees a family in front of her. A few months later, Sa-ra and Ki-joon are looking for wedding rings and find the perfect rings.

Meanwhile, Sa-ra tells Seo-yun to be prepared for the big ceremony that is about to come. It is finally the day of the wedding and the bride and groom are seen walking down the aisle. It is none other than Dae-ki and Kang Bom who are ready to have their ceremony officiated by Sa-ra.
Sa-ra tells about the importance of thinking about a break up in their mind as this will influence an individual to value their relationship more. As she wishes the couple a happy married life, cheers erupt and joy is spread everywhere. Later, Ki-joon is unable to hold himself back and presents that ring he had prepared for Sa-ra when looking at the sunset with her.
However, Sa-ra holds back and tells him that she doesn’t want to get married again while asking for a break up. This stunts Ki-joon whose surprise doesn’t end here as Sa-ra then suggest to have a marriage with an expiry date which needs to renewed every year. Ki-joon understands her context and is ready to prepare 10 rings for Sa-ra for each time he proposes a renewal.
With this, Ki-joon slips the ring into Sa-ra’s finger and just like that, the two go from being business partners to life partners.
