However, she doesn’t turn out to be the kind of woman who backs down from a fight.
Making him wait and causing him enough angst, she finally decides to spend some time with him. The female protagonist has fallen in love with him, and naturally, as it works in a romantic comedy, the male protagonist also professes his undying love for his partner. Now, the two have decided to live and start a life together. What happens is that she comes to her senses that the man she is about to marry is a charlatan with a penchant for being too non-chalant.

As a way to get back at him, she decides to be her best self, making sure that if she ever left, it would be clear that the groom was the problem and not the bride. When he gets wind of this, he decides to make a plan to thwart her attempts at making a good impression. The trailer ends with the couple seemingly cordial but still hostile enough to continue with this child’s breakup game.
Like all of Luv Ranjan’s films, the dialogues are lyrical and music is fantastic. If the Pyaar Hota Kayi Baar Hai music video is any indication, the rest of the soundtrack album will also be fantastic. The director works exclusively in stories that explore heterosexual romantic relationships and the plight of the human condition governed by gender when it comes to romance.
