Percy Jackson and the Olympians Episodes 3 and 4 Preview: What are Percy, Annabeth and Grover Up to Next?

Percy Jackson and the Olympians Episodes 3 and 4 Preview: The live-action Disney+ TV series has come alive with Walker Scobell, Leah Sava Jeffries and Aryan Simhadri playing the titular trio roles of Percy, Annabeth and Grover respectively. Created by the author of the loved book series, Rick Riordan, and Jonathan E Steinberg, the new adaptation of the demigod world stays faithful to the source material with age-appropriate casting of the lead characters. The series revolves around the 12-year-old demigod, who, upon discovering a life-turning fact, finds himself at Half-Blood Camp, where all adventures and quests find their starting point, and possibly a fatal end for some too.

The series first premiered on the streamer with two episodes on December 20, following which, new episodes will line up on a weekly basis with high stake adventures one after the other as Percy and his friends set out to discover the whereabouts of the stolen master-bolt wielded by Zeus himself. Here’s when the next set of episodes will come out and what to expect from them.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians Episodes 3 and 4 Preview

New episodes are expected to drop every week on Wednesdays. Both episodes will premiere at 7:30 am IST, or 9 PM EST (a day before) on Disney+. The titles for the upcoming episodes are listed below.

Percy Jackson Episode 3 Release Date and Title: December 26, 2023 at 9 PM EST or December 27, 2023, at 7:30 AM IST; “We Visit the Garden Gnome Emporium” (Directed by: Anders Engström)

Percy Jackson Episode 4 Release Date and Title: January 2, 2024, at 9 PM EST or January 4, 2024, at 7:30 AM IST; “I Plunge to My Death” (Directed by: Anders Engström)

Following the previously established norm, the episodes reflect the narrative divulged by the book chapters. The “Garden Gnome Emporium” chapter finally lends us a look at Medusa. On top of that, it seems like we haven’t seen the last of Ms Dodds either as the preview sparks our interest in this elusive character yet again.

Moreover, before the iconic trio sets out for their inevitable quest, they will turn to Luke for special gifts that will help them on their long way. Among these, the most special one of all is the pair of winged shoes, which otherwise look like regular basketball shoes or red Converse Chuck Taylors, but as soon as the word “Maia” is heard, wings sprout and help someone fly.

All these visuals will ultimately tie into the final showdown. Stay tuned to find out how the epic book scenes will soon result in peak cinema in classic PJO style. The first two episodes of the series are already streaming on Disney+.
