Once Upon a Small Town Trailer: Gives Hometown Cha Cha Cha Vibes

The Swoon dropped a beautiful Once Upon a Small Town trailer today. The story is set in a town called Huidong. The town is situated amid the mountains and waters. The Korean drama stars Park Soo-yeong, Choo Young-woo, and Baek Sung-chul. The makers promise the show to be refreshing and feel-good.

The trailer tells us that in a town called Huidong, there are some handsome youths. One of them is Ji-yul (Young-woo), who runs an animal hospital in Seoul. Sang-hyeon (Sung-chul) is a passionate farmer who grows peaches. The town also has an amazing police officer Ja-young (Soo-yeong) who handles civil complaints and helps people.

In the trailer, Ja-young says she isn’t dating anyone and is focused on her work. However, the boys seem to be her admirer. Ji-Yul says that he’s in love with the police officer. Everything looks colourful, like it’s set in a storybook. I can’t help but think of Hometown Cha Cha Cha after watching the trailer.

Once Upon a Small Town trailer description reads, “Against his wishes a veterinarian from the big city relocates to the countryside, where he meets a policewoman, a town insider with a friendly secret.” The Swoon also shared a brand new poster and wrote, “Get away from the bustling city and breathe in the fresh country air with Park Soo-yeong, Choo Young-woo, and Baek Sung-chul’s new drama, ONCE UPON A SMALL TOWN ????????”.

A cute dynamic between the trio, lots of chemistry, laughter, and beautiful scenery. Very excited to see Park Sooyoung as Ahn Jayoung. I loved her as Seong Mido in The One and Only and this time she’ll be acting in a romantic comedy. She’s a versatile actress and I like that she takes on different types of roles and genres. I can’t wait to watch this!”

Another person commented on the trailer, “So happy it will be on Netflix. I canceled my subscription in April, but I’m getting back for this show.”
