Oh Belinda Teaser reveals the modern remake of the 1986 classic of the same name. The upcoming Turkish fantasy comedy is directed by Deniz Yorulmazer and the screenplay is written by Hakan Bonomo, and produced by OGM Pictures for Netflix. It will have a runtime of about 1 hour and 37 minutes.
The cast of the film includes Neslihan Atagül Doğulu as Serap, Serkan Çayoğlu as Suat, Necip Memili, Meral Çetinkaya, Beril Pozam, Efe Tunçer, Gamze Karaduman, Sacide Taşaner, Kamil Güler and Anıl Çelik.
Following the same plot as the classic, in the story, a young actor’s perfect life takes a madcap turn when she agrees to star in a commercial and suddenly gets transported to her character’s world. The actor finds herself in the character’s life just as described in the script but now it’s her reality.

In the teaser, we see that Serap is a modern and successful theatre actress who is reading the script for her shampoo commercial shoot. In the script, it’s written that her character of Mrs Handan has a son & a daughter, along with working full time in a bank she is a great homemaker as she makes dolmas in the evening.
The description irks Serap since she despises the traditional role assigned to women, which consists of cooking, cleaning and bearing children. Instead, she leads an independent life compared to the stereotypical character. However, she agrees to act in a commercial for the newly launched shampoo named Belinda.
Despite some qualms, the shoot goes on fine for the most part but when the scene of actually using the shampoo comes up, the director doesn’t like her acting. He thinks that she is not feeling the vibe & owning the scene. For the final take, she decides to give it her all & immerse herself completely, so much so, that she opens her eyes to another life altogether.
She has become the character she was playing in the Belinda commercial, with a traditional husband & two kids. Desperate to go back to her own life she tries to find people from her life but cannot convince anyone, including her boyfriend Suat, that she is Serap. Will she be able to go back to her life or will have to live as the character forever, this is what we will find out soon.
