2023 has been quite a year for cinephiles and there’s a lot more in store. In this article, we bring you the new trailers and teasers of movies and shows that dropped this week that we all are looking forward to. Belonging to different genres, the upcoming movies and shows seem appealing. And as cinephiles, it is our job to give each of these projects a chance to woo us with their storytelling.
In this new trailers and teasers list, we have both big-screen releases as well as OTT releases. Needless to say, it’s a matter of choice to go to the theatres for the biggies or wait for them to arrive on OTT platforms. But the problem lies in keeping eyes and ears closed so as to not be subjected to spoilers. Some are successful, others not so much. Either way, the excitement is what matters. So here they are.
New Trailers and Teasers This Week
Salaar
Prabhas returns to the big screen after the disaster that was Adipurush. Director Prashanth Neel (KGF: Chapter 1 & 2) is helming the project. In the teaser, we see actor Tinu Anand addressing the Baahubali actor as a dinosaur. So we pretty much get the idea of how things will turn out. It’s just a matter of waiting now. The cast also includes Prithviraj and Shruthi Haasan as the leads as well.
Bawaal
Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor team up for this romantic drama. Other than the usual hint at the romance, the end of the teaser shows two getting separated from each other inside what seems to be a gas chamber? Will the love story take place during a World War or somewhere in the future? Well, Nitesh Tiwari (Dangal, Chhichhore), you have our attention.
Sex Education Season 4
The world-famous show is back for its 4th season and we can’t keep calm. In the teaser, we see how Asa Butterfield’s Otis Milburn has a lot of trouble explaining to the students at his new college, Cavendish Sixth Form College, how he is a sex therapist. Well, it’s one of the many issues that he is about to go through in the concluding season. As for the cast, we have Emma Mackey (Maeve Wiley), Ncuti Gatwa (Eric Effiong), Gillian Anderson (Jean, Otis’s mom), Aimee-Lou Wood (Aimee Gibbs), Connor Swindells (Adam Groff), and Kedar Williams-Stirling (Jackson Marchetti).
Class Act
Based on the life of French TV host turned businessman turned politician Bernard Tapie, Class Act tells the tale of one of France’s most controversial faces. The trailer reveals how the film wills how the rise o Tapie and what all he did to achieve his dreams. But not every dream comes true, does it? The biopic stars Laurent Lafitte (as Bernard Tapie), along with Joséphine Japy and Fabrice Luchini.

Killers of the Flower Moon
One of the most highly-anticipated films worldwide, Martin Scorsese’s Killers of the Flower Moon is adapted from a non-fiction novel of the same name, written by David Grann. It deals with the Osage Nation murders that occurred in Oklahoma in the 1920s, fueled by oil and the money that it brought n. The film stars Lily Gladstone, Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert De Niro, Brendan Fraser, and Jesse Plemons.
The Nun 2
The world’s most popular horror franchise returns to the big screen with The Nun 2. The only horror-mention in our new trailers and teasers list, the horror flick will follow the events of 2018’s The Nun. Valak (Bonnie Aarons) is back to take Sister Irene (Taissa Farmiga) with her and she seems to be more powerful. We will also find out more about Valak herself and how she came to be the demon from being an angel. Other actors in the film include Jonas Bloquet who is returning as Frenchie, along with Storm Reid and Anna Popplewell.
Red, White and Royal Blue
Based on Casey McQuiston’s highly acclaimed novel of the same name, Red, White and Royal Blue is a queer romantic comedy starring Taylor Zakhar Perez as US president Ellen Claremont’s (Uma Thurman) son Alex Claremont-Diaz and Nicholas Galitzine as Prince Henry of Britain. From rivals to lovers, the trailer shows how the two guys shift in their nature and feelings for each other. The film is directed by Matthew Lopez.
Bob Marley: One Love
Based on the life of the world-famous Jamaican singer, the Reinaldo Marcus Green directorial will show the struggles and adversities that Bob went through to make his voice, one of love and harmony, known to the world. The film stars Kingsley Ben-Adir as Bob Marley along with Lashana Lynch as Rita Marley (Bob’s wife), James Norton, Tosin Cole, and Anthony Welsh.
Corner Office
Starring John Hamm as Orson, Corner Office shows a man trapped in a corporate world and the absurdities it holds. But things change when he finds a room that as per his colleagues, doesn’t even exist. Is he dreaming? Or are people lying to him? Alongside Hamm, the film stars Danny Pudi, Christopher Heyerdahl, and Sarah Gadon. It has been directed by Joachim Back.
