Ali Wong and Steven Yeun’s Cathartic drama BEEF has struck a sensational chord with the audience worldwide. And has also been one of the top-performing shows on Netflix, for a while now. The plethora of BEEF Quotes have overtaken the fan pages and internet references, which are filled with some hard-hitting one-liners. Therefore, to provide you with a hard hit back from Lee Sung Jin’s ode to faulty humans, we have put together some of the best quotes from the show below.
Check Out Hard Hitting BEEF Quotes
1. “Sometimes, rock bottom is your trampoline.”

The first quote came from Geroge (Joseph Lee) who was an irritating optimist throughout the season and ended up giving some of the words advice to her wife, Amy. One might argue, that it was George’s inherent denial to accept the “not so perfect” worldview of Amy, that eventually led to the whole revenge saga.
2. “You ever notice how people who have money think that money isn’t important?”

Throughout the complete season, Amy carried a no-nonsense attitude, followed by some unfiltered pieces of advice. Moreover, the self-made millionaire didn’t shy away from speaking her mind, when it came to money and real-world discussions.
3. “It is selfish for broken people to spread their brokenness.“

One of the main highlights of BEEF as a show is the level of introspection in the characters. When Amy mentions the idea of keeping our trauma to ourselves, it’s both heart-wrenching and devastating at the same time.
4. “The moment you begin to worry, the moment you acknowledge the worry, you solidify it into existence, which is why we chose to ignore and ignore we did.”

Fumi was one such character who outplayed nearly everyone in the series. She was the one who repeated some solid words of wisdom to Amy when she initiated a reconciliation effort with George.
5. “Western therapy doesn’t work on Eastern minds.”
It’s true that Danny had his own share of prejudice throughout the series. The construction professional held some strong beliefs regarding the contrast between Western and Eastern concepts, especially women and therapy.
6. “We hit puberty right when they invented the internet.“
When Amy and Danny were lost in the middle of nowhere, the duo came up with some surprisingly wise ideas. One of them was about the constant irony that accompanies them and their cursed generations.
7. “God’s just trying not to feel alone in nothingness.”

Another seemingly brilliant notion from the show came as a side-effect of the elderberries. Moreover, both Amy and Danny tried their level best to keep the conversation as intriguing as possible, before puking their guts out.
8. “Everything fades; nothing lasts.”
One of the few lines that were repeated twice in the series, was the notion of existence and life in general. It was Amy, who confronted Danny with the truth bomb about his success, followed by Jordon, who reiterated the exact same sentence.
9. “Old people are stupid like that, taking it out on us because they regret their life decisions.”
The core theme of the series was the concept of broken people and their conflicting relationships with others. Both the protagonist, Amy and Danny, were a direct result of their corrupt and traumatic upbringings, which rightly reflects in this quote.
10.”It’s not a microbusiness. It’s a magnum opus business.”

Through out the series, Danny was the only person who believed in his independent business venture, right from the start. This quote is a great example of his confidence (or over-confidence), which made him a successful construction man.
11. “I’m a bad person. I tried to hide that from you because you’re not. You’re as good as it gets. That’s why I fell in love with you.”
Another deep emotion introspection point in the show was Amy’s revelation to George. The entire monologue is filled with some serious confessions about her cheating, financial gains, and personal catharsis.
12. “A Baby with mobility and strength is just a serial killer”
It’s safe to say that the above quote was repeated by Danny, in a twisted state of mind. Even though the statement reflects a comical notion, the Cho brother might not be joking at all.
