My Man is Cupid Episode 2 Prediction

Sang-hyuk will be startled by the way Baek-ryun smells him and intensely looks at him. He will immediately stop her actions so that the public won’t misunderstand them. In this episode, Baek-ryun and Sang-hyuk will start having a bickering relationship given he is clearly not into falling in love post the death of Jeong-ah. His fellow cupids will be working along with him to restore their arrow. Meanwhile, the death of Baek-ryun’s new friend might come out in the news startling the citizens. This will alert everyone of a mysterious killer.

Sang-hyuk will start connecting the dots and will wonder whether Jeong-ah was killed by the same person as well. He will start his search for the mysterious killer. The chances of Sang-hyuk figuring that Baek-ryun is the re-incarnation of the court lady Ah-reum is quite less but if he does find it, then there will surely be a shift in their relationship.

My Man is Cupid Episode 1 Recap

The episode begins with Sang-hyuk, a cupid, using an advanced arrow to make a couple fall in love instantly. Back at his place, fellow cupids bicker about the proper use of cupid arrows, crucial for them to regain their normal lives. The argument leads to a flashback, revealing Sang-hyuk’s sacrifice 500 years ago that burned the cupids’ wings, linking their fate to his arrow regaining its golden color.

Later, we’re introduced to Baek-ryun, a veterinarian with a troubled dating history. A tarot reading reveals her past-life connection to a court lady, and she embarks on a 1000-day mountain journey for forgiveness. At the mountain, she encounters Sang-hyuk, setting the stage for their intertwined destinies. Sang-hyuk and his cupids continue their duty, and thankfully they’re taken care of by a person aware of their identity.

The narrative takes an emotional turn when Sang-hyuk learns about the discovery of Jeong-ah’s remains, the woman he loved, and who went missing in 1993. Devastated, he visits the burial site, breaking down in grief. Meanwhile, Baek-ryun’s night out leads to a mysterious figure observing her newly made friend, raising questions among the viewers about her safety.

The following day, Baek-ryun and Sang-hyuk cross paths again at a cupid exhibition, reminiscing about the night he took her to the police station. Intrigued, she challenges the cupids for not giving her a love story. As Sang-hyuk scans her for a red thread, symbolizing love, their intense encounter hints at a deeper connection, leaving the audience eager to explore the unfolding complexities of their intertwined fates.
