My Man is Cupid Episode 15 Recap
Previously we saw how the serial killer murdered Myeong-sik, the man who was arrested for the murder of Eun-seo which he didn’t commit. Regardless, he still agreed to have killed the woman while clearly we’re shown that he didn’t do it. We also finally get to see the real serial killer’s face who started visiting Baek-ryun’s clinic before the day arrives when he stands in front of her with a vile smile and a sharp scalpel, proving his real intentions.

Did Baek-ryun escape? Of course, she did because a timely interruption by Baek-ryun’s receptionist prevents the potential tragedy. Police officer Seo Jae-hee rushes to Baek-ryun’s clinic, concerned for her safety. However, by the time he arrives, the killer has already fled. Sang-hyuk also appears on the scene, ensuring Baek-ryun’s safe return home. The death of Kim Myeong-sik intensifies the police investigation, prompting Baek-ryun to seek the help of a hypnosis expert. In her dream, she vividly experiences her past life as Jeong-ah, hearing the killer’s voice and connecting the dots to his identity.
The narrative takes a supernatural turn as Sang-hyuk encounters the mysterious little boy, revealed to be the Deity of Courage. The boy imparts insights about destiny and second chances, setting the stage for Sang-hyuk’s renewed efforts to influence the course of love. As he releases his cupid arrows from the rooftop, the story delves into the complexities of fate and free will.

In a crucial development, Baek-Ryeon meets with Officer Jae-hee, sharing her discovery of the killer’s voice. United in their pursuit, they decide to hunt down the elusive culprit. However, a chilling revelation unfolds when Samshin, the divine entity warning Sang-hyuk, reveals that Baek-ryun’s past avoidance of her fate may not be repeated in this life, foretelling a tragic destiny tied to Officer Jae-hee. Meaning, in this life, Jae-hee will die for all the times in his past, Baek-ryun was put to eternal sleep.
The episode concludes with a suspenseful climax as Baek-ryun sits in Officer Jae-hee’s car, unknowingly faced with imminent danger. Sang-hyuk’s frantic call and attempt to warn her add a layer of urgency, culminating in a bomb explosion and the shocking implication that Baek-ryun may have been inside the car during the blast. The cliffhanger ending leaves viewers on the edge of their seats, eager to unravel the aftermath of this explosive turn of events.
My Man is Cupid Episode 15 Review
The gods are simply planning to give re-birth to Baek-ryun, so Sang-hyuk can finally have a shot at love for which he endured the curse. Baek-ryun will die and get resurrected as a cupid or something however the episode’s end definitely leaves the viewers speechless because just when the serial killer’s trauma was hitting on, Baek-ryun’s end seems unfathomable.

Or maybe, the writers decided never to show the significance of Jae-hee remembering his whole past so that in the last episode they could focus on Sang-hyuk and Baek-ryun only. However, if that’s the move they pulled, it’s a shame that they ended such a wonderful character like Jae-hee without a strong conclusion, just to rush the series’ end.
