My Liberation Notes is a slice-of-life drama series that follows the lives of three siblings living in the Sanpo village in Gyeonggi-do. They commute to Seoul for work every day and most of their time is spent on travel. Their life is stuck in a mundane schedule but they are adamant about changing it. The youngest of the siblings, Mi-jeong’s life starts seeing a change when a man called Mr. Gu appears in her town. The drama stars Kim Ji-won, Son Suk-ku, Lee Min-ki and Lee El in lead roles.

Gu has been trying to push Mi-jeong away after telling her how he blames himself for his ex-girlfriend’s suicide. However, Mi-jeong can see right through him and tells him off for his behaviour. After Gu sees a man stalking him in Sanpo, he goes to Seoul and confronts Baek, his ex-girlfriend’s brother about it. Gu is a powerful man indeed and he threatens Baek to come back from his hideout sooner than he has expected.
