My Hero Academia Season 7 Episode 7 was absolutely mind-blowing and left us craving more excitement. Let’s discuss the events of MHA Season 7, Episode 7.

My Hero Academia Season 7 Episode 6 Recap

This episode was one of the most thrilling and rewarding of the season. Previously, we saw All For One unable to detect any malice in Aoyama’s voice, thanks to a key figure who altered the situation in the heroes’ favor. This pivotal figure is Shinsou, who trained hard to manipulate even humans, enabling him to brainwash Aoyama and lure All For One to a specific location.

This brilliant plan, unexpected by all, highlights Shinsou’s potential as a hero. However, another unsung hero in this operation is Monoma, also known as Phantom Thief. He effectively copied Kurogiri’s warp gate and kept it intact long enough to execute the critical moves of the episode. Monoma’s role is vital not only in setting up the operation but also in the later stages when it comes to defeating Tomura. His contribution underscores his importance to the mission.

The episode showcases everyone putting forth their best efforts, and understanding the high stakes involved. Despite their meticulous planning, things take an unexpected turn when Deku is dragged away to fight someone else instead of staying to confront Tomura. Additionally, landing a blow on Tomura proves to be incredibly challenging, as he now possesses a new and formidable power unseen before.

My Hero Academia Season 7 Episode 7 Review and Recap

This episode again was an intense and wild one, because of how things are going in the opposite direction than what the heroes have planned. The heroes came up with various strategies so that they could separate the villains and defeat them individually. However, even after all this planning and preparations, Deku gets stuck on the Okuto island, whereas Shigaraki launches an attack that nobody is aware of. Thousands of arms churn out from his body, and they act like a whip to strike anything in its vicinity. In such a case, if he activates his quick, he can destroy everything all at once, along with his enemies.

This is why the heroes must be very much aware of his movements, and Monoma, along with Aizawa, cannot shift their attention from him. And, this also makes it impossible for Monoma to create a warp gate for Deku to travel back to them. Hence, our hero must reach his destination with his own power.

But Deku is also not in a place where he can just stroll out, leaving everything behind. The situation at Okuto Island is not very promising either. Deku finally gets approached by Toga, and they have an open chat like they should have all this time. Toga ultimately tells Deku about her feelings, which Deku obviously rejects in a very polite manner. The consequences of it were definitely not healthy.

However, we must not forget that Deku was not alone there as Ochako and Froppy are both there. They again established why they do not need someone’s help to set Toga right. On the other hand, the two Todoroki brothers are up against each other for a much-needed family reunion.

Verdict

Today’s episode was again great, and it makes you feel despair in anticipation of the next episode. There is a high chance that we will get to know about Dabi’s side of the story, and I cannot wait to see and learn more about his past.
