My Happy Marriage Episode 8 is highly anticipated by fans. My Happy Marriage (My Blissful Marriage) or Watashi no Shiawase na Kekkon (わたしの幸せな結婚) is an upcoming anime series which will be premiering on Netflix. Based on the light novel of the same name written by Akumi Agitogi and illustrated by Tsukiho Tsukioka, it also has a manga adaptation illustrated by Rito Kohsaka.
The live-action film adaptation of the fantasy series was released in Japan on March 2023. Following the story of Miyo, who enters an arranged marriage with a ruthless commander, officially got its own anime series announced to be directed by Takehiro Kubota under Kinema Citrus Studios. Ami Satō, Takahito Ōnishi and Momoka Toyoda are credited as the writers, and Evan Call gives the music.
Licensed under Netflix, the series is scheduled to run for 13 episodes. With an estimated duration of 20-25 minutes each, the episodes are available in English dub and subtitles. The opening theme song is Anata no Soba ni (貴方の側に。, “By Your Side”) by Riria and the ending theme song, Vita Philosophica (ヰタ・フィロソフィカ), is performed by Kashitarō Itō.

My Happy Marriage Plot
The plot of the show is set in the early fictional years of Japan, where possessing supernatural powers holds the utmost form of respect. However, Miyo, following the death of her mother, leads a rather miserable life with her stepmother and stepsister. As she possesses no power, she is deemed as a useless member of the household, and everyone in the family devalues her. She is married off to a ruthless commander named Kudou, and her life completely changes since then.

The story will mainly follow Miyo Saimori and Kiyoka Kudo’s married life. Other supporting and recurring characters include Kaya Saimori, Kōji Tatsuishi, Yurie, Yoshito Godō, Arata Tsuruki, Kazushi Tatsuishi, Takaihito and others.

In the seventh episode, Miyo, along with Kiyoka, revisit the Saimori household for the last time as it has burned down following the fight. Since then, her father and stepmother have shifted to a new house, and Kaya is sent to another family. Additionally, Kiyoka and Miyo are officially engaged as they sign the papers in the Kudo house. A new character arrives in the anime whose name is Hazuki Kudo. She is Kiyoka’s sister, who is appointed to give Miyo lessons on etiquette.
On the other hand, another incident occurs that shocks Kiyoka. His superior informs him that The Grave has been hit and unsealed. Arata Usuba appears, who seems to have a different agenda in his mind and is keen on meeting Miyo.
