Mission Majnu

Directed by Shantanu Bagchi and starring Siddharth Malhotra in the lead, Mission Majnu is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language film set in 1970s Pakistan-India. The fictional spy thriller’s trailer gauged the fans’ attention as expected. You can catch this movie on Netflix.

Jung_E

Jung_E is a science fiction film directed by Yeon Sang Ho. The story moves around a researcher and her plans to clone her mother so that she can end the civil war. The movie stars famous Korean actors like Kang Soo-Yeon, Ryoo Kyung-Soo and Park So-Yi. The movie will be available on Netflix to stream.

Chhatriwali

Chhatriwali is an upcoming romantic comedy film that shows the life of an unemployed chemistry genius, Sanya. While searching for a job, she also uses her skills to break the taboos of sex. The film stars Rakul Preet Singh, Sumeet Vyas, Satish Kaushik, Dolly Ahluwalia and Rajesh Tailang. The movie will be streaming on Zee5.

The Post-World Truth

The Post-Truth World is a Taiwanese crime mystery film directed by Chen I-fu. The movie will show the effects of media as a journalist keeps an escaped criminal as his friendly hostage. The movie stars Joseph Chang, Edward Chen, Caitlin Fang, and Aviis Zhong, and will be available on Netflix to watch.

Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam

Starring Mollywood legend, Mammooty, Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam is about a weird guy called Sundaram and his acts among the Malayali travellers who get stopped at a Tamil Nadu village. Lijo Jose Pellissery directs the movie under Mammooty Kampany productions.

Puss In Boots: The Last Wish

If you’re a fan of Antonio Banderas, then catch him voicing Puss in the upcoming Puss In Boots: The Last Wish once again. Puss seeks another adventure ahead of him, and this time, he is on a quest to find the mythical last wish to restore all his lost nine lives.

Doctor Bakshi

Doctor Bakshi is an upcoming Bengali movie directed by Saptaswa Basu, starring Subhashree Ganguly, Parambrata Chatterjee and Bonny Sengupta in the lead roles. The movie is about Bakshi, who uses his medical proficiency to save a novelist from a murder mystery.

Akhanda

After Veera Simha Reddy‘s success, Telugu star Nandamuri is now releasing his 2021 film Akhanda exclusively in the Hindi language in theatres. The story will follow Balakrishna, a devotee of Lord Shiva, trying to become humanity’s saviour.

Ayisha

Aamir Pallikkal’s debut movie Ayisha is a Malayalam-Arabic film showing the life of Ayisha (Manju Warrier) and her life in a gulf country. The movie is produced by Zakariya Mohammed.

Dilkhush

Dilkhush is a Bengali film that follows a group of people seeking love with the help of artificial intelligence. The movie is directed by Rahool Mukherjee, the assistant director of M S Dhoni: The Untold Story movie.

Kaberi Antardhan

Kaberi Antardhan is a Bengali thriller directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Kaushik Ganguly. The movie pairs Srabanti Chatterjee with Prosenjit Chatterjee, in a storyline set in the 1970s infamous emergency era of Bengal.

Broker

Broker is the most anticipated Korean film that will be available in theatres. Starring Oscar-winning Song Kang Ho, Kpop idol IU and other notable casts, the movie features a unique story about boxes with unwanted babies dropped in them.

Poovan

Poovan is a Malayalam comedy film showing the life of Hari, who struggles with insomnia. However, to make his life worse, a rooster arrives next door. The movie is directed by Vineeth Vasudevan and written by Varun Dhara.

Sarla Ek Koti

Sarla Ek Koti is a Marathi film starring Onkar Bhojane, Isha Keskar and Chhaya Kadam. Directed by Nitin Supekar, the story will follow Bhikaji’s financial struggles during the Corona phase and how he got himself involved in rummy only to lose his wife.

Directed by Dushyant Pratap Singh, Zindagi Shatranj Hai is a Hindi mystery film showing the life of a married couple where the wife refuses to accept the husband while hazardous criminals start wandering near them.

Shakalaka Boom Boom

Shakalaka Boom Boom might remind us of our childhood show; however, this movie is about nasty fraudsters trapped in a haunted house that they broke into. Instead of getting valuable riches, they’re met with an unexpected fate. The movie is directed by Shrisha Yellare and stars Aravind Bolar, Godwin Sparkle, Praveen Markame, Laksha Shetty and Umesh Mijar.

Hu Atra Tatra Sarvatra

The upcoming Gujarati film directed by Irshad Dalal will star Hitu Kanodia in the lead. The movie will show various themes like politics and its power on education, along with gangster vibes.

Vanitha

Vanitha is a Malayalam film starring Lena as the police officer who will cross any limits to serve justice to the victims. Other notable casts are Salim Kumar, Sreejith Ravi, Seema G. Nair and Kalabhavan Navas. Rahim Khader directed this movie, and Jabbar Marakkar produced it.

Junglemahal: The Awakening

The award-winning Junglemahal: The Awakening Hindi horror movie is set in the Eastern Ghat Range when Naxalites were uprising. The film shows a series of incidents, and the main leads have to figure out the cause.

Maikhum

The Manipuri movie Maikhum is about Lingjel, a village boy whose family was killed by Thoibis ex-boyfriend Wangbren. Seeking revenge, he plots to murder everyone in Wangbren’s family. The movie is directed by Bimol Phibou and stars Gokul Athokpam and Biju Ningombam in the lead roles.

Baby Missing

Directed by Ashok Kashyap, Baby Missing is a Kannada film based on the true story of Hubballi’s missing boy. The movie’s cast includes Sparsha Rekha, Kaddipudi Chandru, Ashok Kashyap and other notable actors.
