The new 16-episode series follows a young job-seeker named Lee Mi-jin, played by Jung Eun-ji. She spent 8 years trying to pass the civil service exam and only got part-time jobs. However, an incident causes her to age into a 50-year-old named Im Sun in the day and rejuvenate back into her 20s in the night.

Miss Night and Day Episode 6 Recap
Mi-jin narrowly escapes from Ji-ung’s sight by climbing out of his balcony to the floor above. She accidentally kicks him and uses that time to go to her best friend Ga-yeong’s home. Mi-jin transforms into Lim Sum on time and enters her bestie’s home. She starts panicking wondering about the previous night and whether Ji-ung will come up and check on her. She also noticed that she had spoken to Ji-ung for 30 minutes the previous night via a call and doesn’t remember anything about it.
As expected Ji-ung comes up to check on Mi-jin and gets confused seeing Lim Sum. Ga-yeong says that she is her aunt and that Mi-jin is using the restroom. He gives them the medication he bought for Mi-jin and leaves. Ga-yeong suspects that her best friend likes the prosecutor and vice versa but Mi-jin denies it given her condition. At the office, Ji-ung acts kindly and this makes Lim Sum/Mi-jin develop an interest in him. As the sun starts setting down, Lim Sum escapes from Ji-ung who offers a ride home.

That evening she transforms back to Mi-jin and has an encounter with some young thugs. Ji-ung who was hanging out in the neighbourhood, saves Mi-jin and arrests the gang. He also notices similar drug patches on the young fellas. The next day, at the station he interrogates the young thugs about the patch. They also learn that they’re not minors or high schoolers but are adults pretending as school kids. When one of the guy gives out a story, Lim Sum interprets it perfectly, shocking everyone. They learn that the thugs got the patch through a delivery man who apparently is the boyfriend of the female gamer who tried to smooch off one of the thugs.
On the other hand, Mi-jin’s parents are seen wearing summer clothes just because their daughter bought them off her salary. During a conversation, Mi-jin’s father tells the landlord about Ji-ung’s occupation. This makes him panic and he reveals to Ji-ung that someone died in his apartment and it is haunted. Unfazed, Ji-ung walks back to his home and remembers Mi-jin’s kind parents. He then sends a text to her asking to meet up.
Meanwhile, Ga-yeong and Lim Sum spend the day together at the beach and have fun. After she turns to Mi-jin she finds Ga-yeong missing but is met by Ji-ung at the water park. She then learns through a text that Ga-yeong read Ji-ung’s text and spoke like her to set them two to meet up. Mi-jin and Ji-ung go for a walk and he asks her about the previous night’s call. She then recalls what happened and learns that he is a kind man.
The next day, Ji-ung requests Lim Sum to play video games and arrange a meeting with the gamer lady so they can catch her boyfriend. As Mi-jin, she successfully makes the woman accept the offer. The following day, Lim Sum announces about it to her crew. Soon, the timings change and the plan gets changed, forcing Ji-ung to become the gamer who will be meeting the lady. Overcome by jealousy, on the day of the meeting, Mi-jin watches the two as Lim Sum.
The gamer lady makes Ji-ung uncomfortable by touching him constantly. Byung-duk takes pictures of the two for his further plans. When Ji-ung goes to the restroom, Lim Sum notices the lady mixing a drug in his drink. Right then, Lim Sum transforms to Mi-jin and she tries to save Ji-ung. When he doesn’t get her gestures about the drug, she throws a chicken at his face and rushes towards him to stop him from drinking the drugged beer.
Miss Night and Day Episode 6 Review
The episode is hilarious as usual and the act by all the stars is excellent. Seeing a veteran actress ace her role as a young girl is a killer. She is really outshining all the cast and I’m in love with it. Now that they’re close to finding who’s the mastermind behind those drug patches, we’re also getting subtle romantic scenes building the relationship between Mi-jin and Ji-ung. Now all that’s left for him is to find her secret and still accept her.
