It’s indeed a merry Christmas for Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi fans. The actors announced their new project ‘Merry Christmas’ together on the special occasion. The film will be helmed by Sriram Raghavan and produced by Ramesh Taurani and Sanjay Routray. They all posed for a special pic to make the announcement.
The film is going to be a festival thriller. Sriram Raghavan is known for making amazing thrillers like Badlapur, Andhadhun, Ek Hasina Thi, and others. It would be interesting to see what story he has in mind for Katrina and Vijay.
Katrina took to her Instagram page to share the big news. She shared a pic with Vijay, the director and the producers. The actor captioned it, “New Beginnings ????.BACK ON SET ???? with director #sriramraghavan for Merry Christmas! ???? I’ve always wanted to work with Sriram Sir, He is a master when it comes to narratives that showcase thrillers and it’s an honor to be directed by him. . Super excited to be teaming up with @actorvijaysethupathi for this one produced by @rameshtaurani & @sanjayroutraymatchbox”.
Tips Films will produce the film. The production house’s Instagram page shared the same pic and wrote, “Winter Chills + Festive Thrill = #MerryChristmas 2022 winter promises a thrilling experience with Director #SriramRaghavan’s next. For the very first time, @katrinakaif and @actorvijaysethupathi will come together in this film produced by @rameshtaurani and @sanjayroutraymatchbox.”

The film went on floors this week, and the team has shot for the first schedule in Mumbai. The festive thriller is all set to send chills down your spine on December 23, 2022.
