Medusa Season 2 Ending Explained
Who is the Shooter in Medusa Season 2? What Was Their Motive?
After the first few episodes, we see that Fabian is the shooter in Medusa Season 2 who has been terrorising Bárbara and the Hidalgos constantly. However, in a shocking turn of events, we soon learn that Fabian was not alone and that there is another equally ruthless shooter working alongside him.
In episode 12, titled Brito, we finally learn that the second person was none other than Jaqueline “Jackie” Hidalgo, whose real name is Britney Torrecillas. She has been laundering funds from Medusa through fraudulent charitable works, but when Bárbara put an end to it after becoming the CEO, she became irate. With Jacobo’s job also slashed, she decided to take matters into her own hands and make Bárbara disappear.

Furthermore, in a shocking turn of events, we learn that Jackie knew about Gabriel’s plans from the first season and let it happen because she wanted Bárbara to be gone. In the end, the series brings the two seasons together using its antagonist and bridges the two characters seamlessly.
Eventually, we also learn that Jackie has been connected to different other murders to keep her activities a secret. This includes Gamboa’s murder, who had become a hindrance to money flowing from Arácnida to her foundations, the attack on Porras’s home, and Gunter’s murder.
How Does Danger Discover Jackie’s Secret?

Throughout the season, we see Danger connecting seemingly unrelated pieces of information to come to this striking conclusion. The information from Gunter takes him directly to investigate the financial movements from Jackie’s foundations as well as the money from Arácnida. With the Medusa identity becoming a cause for concern, the police eventually manage to get their hands on a video recording where they are able to identify Fabian’s voice. From there, it’s only a small leap to Jackie.
How Does Bárbara Catch Jackie? What Happens Afterwards?

Instead of working with the police, Bárbara invites Jackie on the pretext that she can’t trust any of the Hidalgos and lays a trap for her wherein she makes her confess everything. However, it was all a ruse – the police were there with her all along and stopped Fabian just in time before he could shoot her. With a mountain of evidence in hand, the two are eventually put behind bars. Even Jacobo refuses to have any relationship with her.
Do Bárbara and Danger End Up Together?

Barbara and Danger initially break up because of the aftereffects of the drugs, which push her to her limits. However, after everything is resolved, the two make up once again six months after the events of the series, they get married as well.
