The MasterChef India Season 7 Episode 33 reactions are piling up, and people are concerned about why Priyanka has been paired with a professional sous Chef Manav Khanna from a restaurant in Bangkok. Hosted by Vikas Khanna and Ranveer Brar alongside Garima Arora, the first-ever female Michelin Indian chef to be a judge on the show, it is produced by Endemol Shine India and directed by Neeraj Shetty.
Episode 33 is titled ‘Face Off Against A Professional’, and the synopsis reads, “Priyanka faces the last hurdle between her and the immunity pin. Manav is a professional chef from Bangkok who works in Chef Garima’s restaurant. Will she clutch up and win the challenge?”
The show brings together home chefs from across the country in a quest to find the best. As they compete in challenges and make some interesting dishes by sampling professional chefs’ recipes, they make their way towards the end. After multiple gruelling rounds of real-life cooking experience and elimination, the judges will choose India’s ‘MasterChef.’
In this episode, Priyanka has another hurdle to cross as she tries to get the immunity pin. Previously, she had to go against Sachin and Nayanjyoti in order to get closer to the Immunity Pin. If last time was difficult, this time, the stakes have been upped several times. Introducing Chef Manav Khanna, who has arrived here from his restaurant in Bangkok to make sure Priyanka has a worthy opponent.
The challenge stipulates that the two of them cook a specific dish. Priyanka was given the advantage of choosing what to cook, which was dessert and was also given an extra ten minutes over her opponent in order to level the playing field. Choosing parfait, Priyanka set to work creating her dish. Additionally, the judges decided that they would be coming to taste these dishes blindly and would not even be in the kitchen while the duo were cooking their desserts.

Contestants standing on the balcony up top notice Chef Manav’s demeanour and start fearing for what Priyanka’s aspects may look like when it comes to the Immunity Pin. She admits that she is scared of his presence and his stature as a professional and acclaimed chef from Bangkok. As her competitors notice, she is seen frazzled and frayed around the edges trying to make this challenge work in her favour.
Soon, their time runs out, and Chefs Garima Arora, Vikas Khanna and Ranveer Brar are invited to taste these dishes and let the competitors know who came out on top. They discuss passionately, relenting that the choice has been difficult. Both the dishes have their own strengths and failures, amounting to something great either way. When they choose, it is Sous Chef Manav Khanna who comes out on top. This leaves Priyanka Biswas without any leverage in the game, losing out on the Immunity Pin.
