MasterChef India Season 7 Episode 31 Reactions are coming in favour of the red team, who was able to complete the challenge without much difficulty. Hosted by Vikas Khanna, Ranveer Brar and joined by Garima Arora, the first-ever female Michelin Indian chef to be a judge on the show, it is produced by Endemol Shine India and directed by Neeraj Shetty.
MasterChef India Season 7 Episode 31 is titled ‘Blind Relay Challenge’ and the synopsis reads – The home cooks showcase their knife skills before being divided into three teams for the blind relay challenge. The teams compete in a high-stakes race for the coveted immunity pin.
The cooking competition show is a nationwide quest to find the best ‘home cook’ and draws out some of the most brilliant chefs from across India. The judges sample recipes from various cuisines that the contestants prepare in their search for India’s ‘MasterChef’. And after going through many challenges, one will win the grand prize and the titles.

In today’s episode, the home cooks had to face two challenges. First, they had to make a potato accordion by slicing it in a zig-zag manner and the first three to finish it were given the advantage of becoming team captains for the next challenge. The teams were divided into red, green and blue.
The red team consisted of Sachin as team captain with Nayanjyoti and Priyanka as members. The team green had Aruna as captain, along with Gurkirat and Kamaldeep. The team blue had Deepa as captain and consisted of Santa and Suvarna. The second task was a blind relay challenge, where members of one team will cook in a relay for 20 minutes each but they can’t discuss things with each other.
The captains were asked to stay while others were sent to the back. They are presented with bananas in raw, ripe, leaf, stem and flour form and by using all the ingredients they had to make one dish. The captain had to strategies as such that even if they leave after 20 minutes the other members are able to create the dish that they started.
Only team blue’s dish was shown in the episode where they had made handmade spaghetti with unmeat balls. Spaghetti was made from banana flour and the balls were filled with banana stems. The judges commented that the dish had two different flavours in sauces and wasn’t balanced in flavours. The others dishes will be seen in the next episode, but the viewers have already guessed who will win the challenge.
Many applauded the calm and systematic way of team red and predict that they will be winning the challenge, which is quite obvious if you look at the preview. While many are wondering and debation if if was the right decision to bring Nazia in the middle when she left the show again.
