Marry My Husband is halfway through, and we love the plot, characters, and almost everything the show offers its viewers. Having captivated us for so long, there is no doubt that we are excited about what more the drama has to offer. Meanwhile, fans of the webtoon who are looking at the story come to life have a lot more to look forward to each week after being satisfied.
Ever since news of the webtoon becoming a drama hit headlines, fans have been eagerly looking forward to the actors playing the characters, new elements that the plot will bring and more. The first half of the drama has certainly satisfied our hearts, however, some more characters are soon to make us even more excited than we already are!
But before we go ahead to count these out, here’s a little about the Kdrama- Marry My Husband (내 남편과 결혼해줘) is a Korean romance fantasy bringing the journey of Kang Ji-won who gets a second chance to live her life. Directed by Park Won-gook, Seong So-jak’s manhua adaptation of the same name stars Park Min-young, Na In-woo, Lee Yi-kyung, Song Ha-yoon, Lee Gi-kwang, and Gong Min-jung, alongside other cast members.
Now without further ado, let’s take a look at the characters from the webtoon that we are eagerly looking forward to!

Marry My Husband: Upcoming Character from the Webtoon!
Park Min-hwan’s Parents
If you have been keeping up with the Kdrama then you must have realised that it is time for these two characters to appear in the upcoming week! Ji-won is soon to meet Min-hwan’s parents for the first time in her second life and we are excited because chaos is soon to follow. Meanwhile, Su-min too has expectations from this meeting that she is soon going to interrupt and use for her own gain.
Min-hwan’s parents are soon to show you why he is the way he is and you wouldn’t be surprised to know that he is their son by the way they behave. Thus, the two are soon going to bring an exciting arc which will leave you angered, speechless, and eager for Ji-won’s counterattack.
Yang Joo-ran’s Husband
While we have already seen a little glimpse of Joo-ran’s husband this week, we are soon to see more of this person who is just another version of Min-hwan. Joo-ran too is suffering due to a bad marriage and there is no way Ji-won is going to let her be in a situation because of which she once died.
Joo-ran is soon to surprise Ji-won with the events in her life and it will be interesting to watch how Ji-won would react to seeing a life similar to her past. Maybe she would also find something shocking that would change her mind about her past.
Kang Ji-won’s Mother
Next, we have Ji-won’s mother who had run away with her lover when Ji-won was still a child. While the webtoon shows Ji-won’s mother making an appearance and opening up the comparison segment with Ji-hyeok’s stepmother, it will interesting to see her make an appearance in the drama as well.
And yes, it is because of Su-min that she would make an appearance because no one likes to make a mess in Ji-won life more than Su-min. But what pushes her into bringing Ji-won’s mother back into the picture is something you wouldn’t want to miss.
Yoo Ji-hyeok’s Step-Mother
Lastly, we have Ji-hyeok’s stepmother who is surely an example by herself because she is a woman who defies all stereotypes set for stepmothers. Ji-won’s mother’s arch will also bring her into the picture, but even if Ji-won’s mother doesn’t make an appearance, we hope that Ji-hyeok’s stepmother shows up in later episodes.
Bonus: Pang the Cat
While we have seen some moments with the special cat- Pang, in the picture, we surely need more scenes of this cat in the show. Webtoon fans already know the magic this cat holds and we hope to see the same appearing in the drama very soon. This cat is a real mystery in the webtoon and will certainly add to the charm of the show as well.
