Marry My Husband Episode 3 Recap

Looking at Min-hwan standing in front of her in his naked state leaves Ji-won in panic but she is saved in time when a deliveryman knocks on her door and she rushes to open the door. While it was the case of a misdelivery, she uses this opportunity to kick Min-hwan out and blames him for thinking of her as an easy woman.

Min-hwan is left with no choice but to leave, unaware that Ji-hyeok sent the deliveryman to help Ji-won. Elsewhere, Baek Eun-ho, who is a schoolmate of Ji-won’s remembers the peculiar man who came to meet him earlier. It was Ji-hyeok who came to inform him about his high school reunion and wanted him to attend the same for Ji-won’s sake.

Meanwhile, Ji-won is insecure about herself and doesn’t know how to make a change overnight. Soon, the day of the reunion arrives but this time Su-min is in for a shock as Ji-won surprises her with a new look. But what brought this change?

A look back a few days back shows Ji-won meeting Hee-yeon after she asked for her to meet. During their time together, Ji-won accidentally shows Hee-yeon the earrings given to her by Su-min and Hee-yeon quickly identifies them as a fake. Later, she asks Ji-won about the school reunion and Ji-won tells her that she may not go as she was bullied back in school.

Hee-yeon is surprised by this and tells Ji-won to not stay back as she should go to the reunion and find out why they bullied her. She encourages Ji-won to show a new self and takes her for a makeover at a high-end salon. Ji-won sees her excitement and agrees to bring forth a new change in herself and soon, a new Ji-won stands in front of the mirror.

However, that night, Ji-won sees the final moments of her previous life and wakes up with a shock. Right then she gets a call from Su-min who is angered when she finds out that Ji-won spent the day with Hee-yeon. She then asks Ji-won to let her take her project, but unlike her previous life, Ji-won refuses to help her out.

Su-min is now completely angry and goes back to spending her time with Kyung-wook who promises to make her part of the project. The next day, Su-min once again spreads rumours against Ji-won before her arrival but is shocked when she sees Ji-won entering her new look. However, her friends try to criticise Ji-won for buying the same earrings as Su-min.

But they are shocked when they see that Su-min is just wearing a dupe while Ji-won is wearing the original earrings. Following this, Ji-won goes to the washroom like in her last life and waits in the stall where she spent her miserable moments. Right then, Su-min’s friends enter the washroom and start discussing Ji-won’s actions when they remember that she is still in the washroom.

They start looking for her and this time Ji-won doesn’t hide but faces them head-on. She then questions them for having bullied her and finds out that Su-min has been spreading lies about her, not just in the past but also earlier today. Ji-won then proves that she is a permanent employee at her company while Su-min is a temporary worker.

She also proves that Min-hwan is her boyfriend and not someone involved with Su-min; with this, she walks away while commenting about how they never checked the facts but straight away attacked her. She then tries to leave the reunion but is once again stopped by the women who are ready to accept Su-min’s present lies, however, they don’t believe that Ji-won ever came between Su-min and Eun-ho in the past.

Su-min had spread lies that Ji-won made her break up with Eun-ho because of which she was bullied in the past. This shocks Ji-won as Su-min knew that she had a crush on Eun-ho. Now, seeing the people around her still blaming her, Ji-won is shocked while Su-min tells her that she is in a secret relationship with Eun-ho.

On the other hand, Ji-hyeok confesses to his grandfather that he is in love with a woman, but it is his one-sided feelings. This leaves his grandfather shocked as he orders his men to investigate this woman. Meanwhile, Ji-hyeok makes his way to the location of the reunion and is shocked to see Ji-won hurry out while looking so different in her new get-up.

Marry My Husband Episode 3 Review

The new episode is here and the story once again takes the turn we had all been waiting for; Ji-won’s transformation. While she may seem like someone taking advantage of Hee-yeon in this episode, she is honestly letting a new friend enter her life and it is good to see her accepting new people even after the betrayal she has faced.

Ji-won is a silly but sweet character who deserves all the love in the world because even though she wants to try being mean, it is not easy for her. Meanwhile, Hee-yeon is the perfect support character for Ji-won as she brings her light to Ji-won and slowly brightens up her life.

On the other hand, Ji-hyeok has also gone through a change as we see him secretly protecting Ji-won in every way possible. He knows a lot about Ji-won and it looks like he won’t let her go this time, making him perfect for Ji-won.

Altogether, the drama is wonderfully living up to the webtoon which is making fans of the story happy for sure.
