Man Vs Bee Season 2: Has Netflix Renewed the Comedy Series?

Man Vs Bee is comedy TV series on Netflix which is created and written by Rowan Atkinson and William Davies, with whom he had previously worked in the Johnny English film franchise. The series is directed by David Kerr and consists of 9 episodes in total. The runtime of each episode is relatively short ranging from 13-20 minutes respectively.

The series follows the story of a house sitter named Trevor Bingley, who is tasked with house-sitting in a luxurious, high-tech mansion filled with priceless artwork. While looking after the home, he is tormented by a mischievous bumble bee that drives Trevor crazy to the extent of damaging and destroying the expensive building. That leads to a court trial against him on the accounts of dangerous driving, arson etc.

Will there be a season 2 of Man Vs Bee?

In the last episode, Trevor Bingley has landed himself in jail but on one fortunate day, he hears a fellow inmate talking about a man hiring 3 robbers to rob their mansion full of fake art pieces, so that he could earn insurance money. Trevor put 2 and 2 together and realises that it is the same burglar who broke into the mansion and that would mean that the home owner Christian is a fraud.

He informs the police about it and the goodwill gets him out of jail and finally fulfils his daughter’s desire of going on a holiday to Isle of Wight. But guess what the bee is back again to torment the hell out of him. Since the series ended on the note of the bee coming back to disturb Trevor’s peaceful life, then the possibility of season 2 can be looked forward to.

Netflix or Rowan Atkinson has not given any confirmation about the renewal of another season but the plot of the comedy series is such that it can go on for many more seasons. Like the franchise of Mr Bean, this series has a fun entertaining plot which only needs its lead Trevor and a bee in any place or situation, and you have yourself hilarious content.

Man Vs Bee is streaming on Netflix.
