Maestro in Blue Season 2 Overview

In the latest season, we see everyone associated with the mess of Charalambos’s death in the last season try their best to move on and live their lives as normally as possible. While Orestis gets ready to have a baby with Alexandra and drowns himself in his music, a heartbroken Klelia gets the chance to join the Athens Conservatory and tries her best to move on from Orestis. Meanwhile, Spyros and Antonis, too, find it difficult to stay apart and go through a bad breakup. The elders of the island try their best to keep their shocking secret under wraps, but a dead body doesn’t always stay hidden like how we’d want to.

Maestro in Blue Season 2 starts with Oresti and Klelia trying to move on from their fling in Paxos – Oresti is drowning himself in his music and staying away from everything and everyone else while Alexandra is trying her best to move on from the murder and make a home for her daughter. Meanwhile, Klelia goes to Athens and gets the first taste of freedom and independence and makes friends with a girl called Zoe who is also about to enrol at the Athens Conservatory. The two girls become fast friends and Klelia also starts dating someone else.

Unfortunately, all of this comes crashing down when Zoe dies in a car accident, leaving Klelia heartbroken once more. She establishes contact with her mother, who is also going through a separation from her husband, Fanis, because of several of his illegal businesses. Meanwhile, Antonis and Spyros break up thanks to the murder and Antonis ends up moving to Athens with Klelia. Meanwhile, Spyros tries to move on by striking up a relationship with a woman but it’s clear that they have no feelings for each other. His mother Maria, meanwhile, also comes to terms with the fact that she was in an abusive relationship with Charalambos.

Till episode 5, we see snippets of Officer Demosthenes hot on the trail of Charalambos’s murderer, after his body floats up. Although he tries his best to get information on the murderer and on Fanis’s illegal dealings, the islanders are tight-lipped and refuse to give anything away. Tensions rise between the characters as Maria and Fanis & Sofia feud over whose fault it was, while Alexandra and Orestis fight with her father, who desperately wants Orestis to divorce his wife and sign his parental rights over in order to protect Alexandra and his business.

In the last episode, everyone comes back to Paxos once more after Demosthenes starts to ask a lot of questions. Sparks fly between Klelia & Orestis and Spyros & Antonis once more as they bond over their clear connection and shared trauma. In the end, as Demosthenes tries to break Michalis and get all the information from him on the murder and Fanis’s dirty business, we see Fanis and Sofia come back from the business trip with the mob and as soon as we see the couple share some sort of a soft moment, one of the men driving the boat shoots and kills Fanis right in front of Sofia and dump his body in the ocean. It is unsure whether or not Sofia lives.
